I watched this quite recently, and I was sad that he didn't choose Jenni or DeAnna as they both seemed like really lovely ladies, and I think if he was patient with either one of them and just worked on it, maybe he would have fallen in love...sometimes when you get carried away in all the honey-moon fairy-tale feelings first, they disappear after a few years, as you start to take that person for granted, it would have been better imho to give one of those lovely girls a shot at a relationship
