Everyone there was not from Washington, D.C. If I could have made it that day I would have been there. The idea, in my opinion, was to show that there are MORE sane people than TEABAGGERS, but when Glen Beck hijacked the "I have a dream day" on the national mall and had crazy people out there jumping up and down agreeing with whatever he said, it showed them calling Obama a Nazi. There were more sane people than there were teabaggers for Beck. NeoCons don't own America, like they think they do.
Washington D.C definitely is a black city, having visited D.C, the whitest part of D.C is congress...
I imagine the reason the city is predominantly black in its demographics has allot to do with the fact that the federal gov always stood up for the rights of Blacks when local state government just south of D.C would not during the turbulent years of segregation and de-segregation, D.C was a safe zone and a sanctuary for southern blacks for generations.
Oh, I forgot to mention on your post when King Abdullah was on the John Stewart show, Abdullah said "our God" to Stewart as they were shaking hands at the end and you can hear Stewart say, "your God". Sorry to get off topic. I like the James Bond music btw :P
