@hitoritaii From my understanding from US family and friends, American cities use to have similar style food establishments, but commercialization, franchising, and health and safety laws now make it hard. I also noticed that Americans drive more than pretty much any other country, because shopping districts are often spaced out and public transport is almost non existent, so drive through style fast food is more appropriate than street food unfortunately. It is there but not as common : )

@NguyenG3n they use a batter... they put pieces of octopus into a special mould on the stove and fill the rest with a batter so they are spherical

@NguyenG3n rounded half ball pits, they roll the top into the bottom and it forms a near perfect ball, it solidifies when heated so it doesnt fall apart
