wonderful to see a beautiful black woman with class, dignity and nice presence. today its chicken necking loud aggressive, beligerance. i could say more but i better not. it wouldnt be nice.
@hrcoffee1 funny thing.. the ones who sample the most tend to be the ones who appreciate the classics & rare gems the most. Have a conversation about music with Daft Punk & I wouldn't be surprised if you learned something.
What a beautiful and talented pair of women! The guy directing the shots on this vid was an idiot. He didn't discover that gorgeous lead guitar player until SEVEN MINUTES into the song and then only showed her only once more. With that large a group of musicians he preferred to show bad shots of people's asses or feet. Just goes to show mixers and directors are almost as important as the performers.
Let's see... she plays the bass, sings without auto-tune, can move and sing at the same time, can write music and lyrics herself? That's it, f*** off to the no talent Justin Bieber, Jessica Black, pop music of the 2000s and everything else crappy the radio plays now. This is real talent here!
@selitafine .HIP HOP RULES..NOT ONE HIP HOP SINGER CAN SING WRITE ARE PLAY ANYTHING ALL THERE FAKE VOCALS AND MUSIC ARE DONE BU A COMPUTER AND U CALL THAT TALENT?LOL..EVERYONE WHO KNOWS MUSIC KNOWS THAT THE MUSIC OF THE 60.70,AND 80'S ARE BETTER THEN THIS BULLSHIT THEY CALL MUSIC TODAY.AND THE WOMEN DURING THE 70S AND BACK WAS NOT EASY NASTY WHORES LIKE THE ONES OF TODAY..THOSE WOMEN HAD CLASS AND RESPECT FORTHEMSELFS,,THEY WAS NOT EASY WHORES LIKE U AND THE REST OF UR WHORISH FRIENDS
@dimpsey3 They were easy in the 60s, 70s and 80s too lol. What stands out to me is how much more conservative they are when compared to contemporary "artists". Trust me, they're pretty much the same across the decades as people, but back then a lot more was left to the imagination as far as lyrics and fashion goes. I miss the old way of things, personally.
As you all know, have posted more then 1 comment, Here it is, bottom line, I like this song because, I'm a bass sound man, but most of all: a child, girl, gal, lady, women, that plays the Bass, is: Awesome!!!
Janice you soooo beautiful

People may hate disco, but it's got some of the absolute best basslines. They may be buried in there, but just listen.

@whemadre I noticed on a lot of these videos the camera focuses on Janice but not Hazel. It's a shame because they are both awesome

@whemadre they did the same thing when taste of oney was on the midnight special in 1978--someone may have told the cameraman to do it that way...
