a couple of tips-extend at the end of the glide,snap your feet close to the bar---i mean CLOSE- and "put your pants on",by looking at your feet the whole entire time.thats how i got my kip.and stay hollow....don't arch your back.
she needs to flick her wrists over the bar. if she still doesn't have it think of your favorite food and pretend it right in front of you but you have to lean forward to get it. that's really it and get your toes to the bar. that's what helped me and my friend.

@mel570 A kip is the most important move in gymnastics (and the hardest to learn). The gymnast glides under the bar, brings the toes to the bar, and rotates the body to finish in a front support position.

Maybe it's cause I'm from Australia but I've never seen a strap bar like that. I'm really intrigued lol ... we use gloves on a metal bar.

If she already has her kip,CONGRATS!!
If she doesn't, here are some tips to help her.
1) Instead of pulling the bar to your knees pull them to your toes.
2) Start the kip standing a little closer to the bar.
3)Pretend that in your kip that you are pulling up your pants.
4) When you jump to catch the bar for a kip, jump up instead of into the bar. This will make it much faster.
5) Switch your wrists quicker and lean over the bar.
