  • Wow i really want a young crow to tame it i pay €20,- here in holland.

  • The crows thought you were kidnapping their helpless baby. lol. I'm sorry for you getting attacked for trying to help! Crows remind me of people a lot of the time. Y'know how sometimes people take things the wrong way and attack xP

  • lol

  • Did any of them strike or touch you, or did they just swoop in close?

  • Nagoya?

  • Dude I'm sure the crows were smart enough to realize what the deal was once he put the chick down, but birds are just nervous like that. And the chick was in the road all huddled up, I'm sure it was less stressed out on that rock.

  • Fledgling crows spend a week on the ground before they start flying. Usually the parents are right nearby watching over them. Occasionally a person assumes they are hurt, even though it's just a natural part of their life cycle, and... well, you see what happens.

  • Yeah, crows are protective, little buggers... Well, nothingless from some of the smartest birds on the planet TwT

Nothing compared to the Eurasian Jay, though! Not as big as crows, but twice as protective. My sister once tried to help a chick, which had fallen out of the nest and they pecked her so hard, she almost needed stitches! Also, compared to crows, they're more like stealth-bombers. They don't say a word, they just attack immediately. At least around these parts.

  • Hitchcock!!! RUN FOR YOUR LIVES!!!!

  • HURR I'M TRYING TO HELP YOU, HERE LET ME LET MY DOG GET RIGHT UP CLOSE TO IT WHILE I HOLD IT AS LONG THE FUCK AS I WANT DURR TOTALLY HELPFUL

  • @dandypajamas Retarded troll is... retarded.

  • never touch a crow or nest, i opened a screen door where they perched at night, but near a roost with 1000's of crows, not a nest, i am dive bombed and harrased multiple times every day and it is getting worse, crows are coming to cities near you, stay away, they dont like to be touched

  • you should have just left that fledgling alone :) its Perrents had it

  • No matter what language - animal instinct says "kill the one who messes with the baby!".

  • @Herzstein666 Except for white trash.

  • Hahahaha!!!! this made me laugh a lot, your scream, "eeaaah" hahha.

    people are like wtf? HAHA

    10/10!!! <3

    You're so kind, lol!

  • I love how Victor tried to reason with those crows. "I'm trying to help you." lol

  • Stupid gaijin, japanese crows don't speak english!

  • what was it that was panting like a dog??

  • Killer Crows! Ah!!!!!!

  • "The next day I was served with a lawsuit." For what?

  • probably, that was a raven?

  • @OccultWood

there be no raven in japan dumass

  • ya im sure it lived.... for a few days until it starved to death. should of just stomped on it's head and killed it.

  • I know you're just trying to help...

but to the crows, I'm sure it looks like you are about to eat their baby, or feed it to your dog!

  • Some naturalist said a parent of wild bird will protect a baby bird by themselves. They said human should not meddle with them.

    (Though I'm not sure.)

  • well i dont really like you much and i did not even look at who posted the vid but this did help me not like you a little less. I like animals and crows more specifically. thank you for trying to help it is commendable. Best wishes.

  • I kind of know how you feel. I sometimes think it would be easier to hurt a human than an animal. Of course, I know that's illogical. Animals are truly innocent.

  • @Gimmeabreakman

I am all for hurting a human before a animal lol.

  • @DeathsFavorite1

    Same.

  • crows are the birds of devil lol

  • just defending their baby...those lovely crows !

  • I don't see why crows are so paranoid. What would want to eat them? I mean that would be eating crow.

  • @niflap Any predator big enough to eat a crow will. Hawks, cats, dogs, etc. They are very social birds and work together to mob enemies.

  • @BoredChick so much for the "eat crow" metaphore

  • Who let the crows out! CAWCAWCAWCAW! Who let the crows out! CAWCAWCAWCAW!!!!!!

  • Comment removed

  • quick way to get attacked by not just a couple crows... imagine a vast murder of crows descending upon you and plucking from your skull your very organs of sight!!! And crows do not speak English..... regardless, they thought you were going to attack.

  • You looked like you were helping until you stuck it in the dogs face. Dogs tend to bite things like that.

  • That was HUGE for a baby crow! Well done for helping out.

  • Lol those are some scary, angry crows. I remember once when a bird flew into my history class through a hole in the cieling and everyone (including guys who though they were really 'hard') seriously freaked out. Haha.

  • Sounds like there are some ornithophobics in your history class.lol. I'll never believe anyone again who says nobody's afraid of birds. Maybe some thought the bird's arrival foretold their deaths.

  • doesnt gaijin mean cunt in japa?

  • Uh... no... A literal translation would be outside person, as it is made up of two Kanji 外 meaning outside and 人 which means person. However it is usually used to refer to foreigners. Beyond that, I don't know. Some people consider it offensive and others don't, and meh, that's a whole other subject. Just know that it definitly does not mean what you said.

  • lol somebody said it ment that so >_> gulible as i am...

  • I think it's more or less equivalent to the Greek usage of "barbarian" in terms of its connotations.

  • Foreign devil would be an acceptable translation

  • You know, two days ago i saved a turtle. He was in the middle of the road and the cars were going around him, but no one stopped to help him. Then i saw car in front of us run over his tail. I know everyone could see him because that turtle held up traffic and it was a busy highway. And the guy ran over him without caring. Well i told my dad to stopped the car and he did. The cars honked at us. I got out and picked up the turtle and placed him back onto the grass. I hope he found his way home...

  • Aww, how mean of that driver. :( Well done for moving him/her.

  • hey at lest the tertule like you i had a tutle that got lost and was on my driveway then i went to pick it up and he stared peeing imean realy peeing it was like a hose but i put him back in the forest and i named him spert he ocasonaly get back on my drive way because i would feed him strabeerris and im affrad he will get hurt when try ing to get across the street so im feeding the strraberries by the foret to train him not to go on the road

  • Those ungrateful crows U__U

  • lol, the irony of your t-shirt makes this video even funnier.

hey vic, where did you get it? I've been looking all over the internet but to no avail :(

  • Crows or ravens?... I'm never quite sure when I'm in Japan.

  • Dude...awesome i was losin it when you ducked down and said (in english) im trying to help you, everyone knows crows in Japan speak Japanese...jeez

  • LOL

  • Maggie wa kawaii da ne! <3

  • This happens every year in the neighbourhood where I live in Vancouver, Canada. When the babies are ready to learn to fly, they drop out of the nest intentionally but are 'grounded' for a few days. It takes them a few days to learn to fly. During this time, the parents are especially aggressive and will dive bomb you relentlessly to protect the babies. Before you try to help a grounded crow, check the surrounding trees for its parents!!

  • 'Tis true. I tried to help a baby sparrow when I was little and one of the parents dive bombed me. :/

  • BIRD FLU!

  • Thats's crazy!! Now how would you have felt if the dog ate the baby!? lol.... sorry, that's not funny, yes, yes it is!

  • Haha, was thinking the same thing :P

  • insane crows! you did the right thing though, don't feel bad :) i heard that black crows are symbols of good luck in Japan. Funny though, in where I live , black crows symbolize bad luck or death.

  • I'm happy to see a man trying to help a crow or any bird for that matter =)

It probably is dead by now, no way it can survive on the ground in a city...But you tried and that makes you cool beans!

  • Victor I just posted a vid response video. Please allow it. Thank you Please.

  • Of course you did the right thing! Don't listen to some people. That poor bird was lying in the gutter and needed to be put someplace safe. You rule!

  • The baby looked mature enough to fend for it's self. What you thought in your mind was a good deed may have done really nothing. As you could see the parents were still watching over it and protecting it from anything. Maybe next time call an professional rescuer and see if that bird really needs to be "rescued"

  • Yeah, a professional crow rescuer in Japan. Maybe I should have also stopped traffic and explained to everyone that until the *professional* arrives this street will be closed.

    You are SOOOO smart!

  • More like animal police or SPCA like person

  • yeah, like those are readily on hand and on speed dial

  • good for you trying to help

  • ahaha that was hilarious, i laughed out loud when you were looking back towards the 'godzilla crow' when you were on the path

  • Those things are beginning to carry switchblades in some cities. They can use tools you know!

  • LOL!

  • That momma crow was madddd.

    Birds can be scary!

  • Were you featured on niconico yesterday?

  • Was I? I dunno. Hehe.

If so, news to me! :)

  • Ouch.

  • Oh.. how could I forget to mention! Maggie is adorable. She's just like *snarl.. I'ma gonna chomp this bird.. rawr* at the beginning. That had me laughing so damn hard.. more than when you were pleading with the crow parents. You got balls Vic.. I would have just shat my pants in that situation.

  • I tried to save this sparrow chick once and it kept trying to fly off despite the fact that every fucking predator wanted to eat it. I had to actually scare off a kite that tried to just flick him (or her?) up.. a motherfucking kite! In the end, after her sixth attempt to leave my safe abode.. she was gone. I couldn't find her around in the neighbourhood after a 3 day search before and after classes. I hope things turned out for the best.

Birds are nuts man, that's the point!

  • They think your going to HARM it.

good birdies! now HUMANS should protect all children the same way! :)

  • Ahouuu ahouuu

  • Wow, how do you always catch these crazy mundane things on camera?

  • Jeeze what a fall. XD thats pretty scary though. Bird parents are so protective o.o

  • That was cool, better than eating crow.

  • My goodness I was gripped — that was so tense!

  • was there a fine with that lawsuit?

  • XD good

  • You're a great guy to do that! The parents were afraid of course, thought you might be a crappy human who would do something cruel and idiotic. I'm so glad I subbed you :-D

  • bad news for you GABM - crows are said to remember people's faces so you might find yourself ambushed one of these days out of the blue

  • That's pretty amazing. I don't my dog knows my face!

  • But Maggie certainly knows your smell! ;-P

  • YEP!!!

  • wow, come on birds give him a break man, he is only trying to help...

Your new haircut almost got modified, haha

  • That's a baby crow? Wow that's kinda big! o_O!

  • hahaha

  • I read in a newspaper once that in a country called Bahrain, there was a gang of crows who were plucking people's eyes out on the streets..

  • Another GABM moment, yeah? Shoulda threw a kitkat bar at the mama' crow.

  • Wow!Crows tried attck you !!

  • hahahaha,funniest thing ever,hahaha :)

  • Wow, why does this moment remind me of an old movie...

    Great job rescuing the bird^^

  • that was like a part of a Steven King movie! lol

  • I haven't actualy seen the Hitchcock movie "Birds" (yet) but imagine that is sort of what it's like. That was some scary shit when they got all pissed off. haha

I have no respect for crows though, they are winged bastards. I would have left it there.

  • Stop trying to eat my baby!

    -- the crows

  • a lawsuit?????!?! What did they charge you with?????

  • harrassing the baby crow with a dog

  • well done on the rescue victor! good man!

  • no crowdan

  • Good for you for doing that.

  • Good times were had by all...

  • You are crazy, I would have left that thing to die, ungrateful pricks.

You new website is crazy too.

  • You like?

  • I liked "nazi crow from al-quaeda (however that is spelled :o )name better... I guess it wasnt politically correct ;o

  • haha I was wondering the very same thing LOL

But that was pretty noble of you to come to the rescue there Victor :) You could've lost an eye or two XDD

  • Wow lol and i thought bird attacks were only in the movies :P. Great video man.

  • It's like that with people sometimes too.

  • i like crows

  • Holy crap, that's scary. Good job, though! =)

    -Blade Genexis

  • LOL. i love your girly scream as you dive.

  • Victor! I am shocked and horrified at your actions! How DARE YOU? You know fully well that you should have yelled "Im trying to help"...................in Japanese, lol.

    Good work beastmaster (-_-)

    Peace

  • Good man Victor.

This is honestly worrying though, this is the second incident of crows dive bombing people I have come across today

    Gulp.

  • HAHAH BRILLIANT

  • Crows are really awesome, when you attack one (or even touch one) the attack you, all at once, awesome.

Search in youtube: "fascinating intelligence of crows"

  • Why did you receive a lawsuit??!! and from who?!

    that's so mean D:

  • The crows...they are massing their skilled team of jackdaws as we speak

  • Well done... I hope. A friend of mine and I once tried to save a duck that was entangled in a wire out on a lake. We borrowed a boat, got it free, then my friend lost hold of it. Don't know what that type of duck is called in English, but when it's frightened it has a retarded reaction. It dives to the bottom of the lake, grab hold of whatever it can bite, lock it's beak and hang on until it drowns. It turned out we saved it so it could commit suicide, birds are really stupid sometimes..

  • hmpf?? but isn't the purpose of every animal to survive??! weird!!

  • "Every living creature on earth dies alone."

    - Roberta Sparrow

  • 0_0

  • I'M TRYING TO HELP YOU! Epic video dude...

  • Holy cow! I mean, crow!

  • Good move, man

  • How odd that there's two dead crows! Bird flu maybe? lol!

  • ??? Who's dead?

  • It's like a scene from The Birds!

  • It's Rodan! Call Gojira!

I use to have a crow's nest in the tree next to my house when I lived in Miami. They would swoop down and almost hit you on occasion. That's when I knew there was a baby bird on the ground nearby.

Glad you used a bag. If you touch them with your bare hands the oil on your skin sticks to their feathers and the parents smell it. This causes them to pretty much disown the chick and let it die.

Good looking out for mother nature Vic!

  • Git jo hanz offa my chiddrens you crackah!

  • You hero!

  • Damn!! they dove at you!! good heavens.

    you're so compassionate :P

  • why a lawsuit ? please tell Victor

  • Whoa lawsuit? Need more information about that. Why'd they sue you?

  • attack my crows of doom , ATTAAAAACK !! soon the world will be mine !! muhahaha

  • Mega crow saving action

  • Hate Crows... They Keep Shitting On my Laundry...

Have To Take My Baseball Bat Do To some "Practice" on those Damn Crows...

    Not True...joking....

  • Did you really get sued?

  • No. But they pushed over my bicycle and pooped on my shoes.

  • I AM OFFENDED BY THIS TITLE! GODZILLA IS NOT ALWAYS TRYING TO DESTROY JAPAN!!!

HE HAS TEAMED UP WITH MOTHRA A FEW TIMES TO DEFEND JAPAN IN FACT!!!!

I DEMAND THIS TITLE BE CHANGED SINCE IT OFFENDS GODZILLA-ITES!!!

Call 'em Nazis. Nobody likes Nazis, right? Unlike Godzilla.

  • dude, shut up! Du bist verruckt! Yeah, Nazis were Germans but not all Germans were Nazis just like not all Muslims are Al Queda or Americans Republicans.

Nobody likes Nazis but you sound like you are defending them.

Think about it - you are crying like a little bitch over a video about crows in Japan! You've got problems, man! Get professional help!

  • Nice try, but you can't get rid of something still affecting the world. And not all nazis were German, so your point=moot.

Also, there are still nazis in existance today, sooo good luck "ending the movement". We have nazis here in America as I type.

And no Americans that make those jokes that I know EVER really consider Germans (today) to be nazis. And obviously they all weren't, because some hid the jewish.

Just a heads up: people aren't usually serious when they say that stuff.

  • Dude, DreaMeRHoLic, i think that you, yourself, are the only person in the world that thinks "Germans=nazi's." It's all in your head. And like he said, people don't usually use terms like that seriously.

  • Germans shouldn't be offended by the use of the word Nazi in cases like this unless they are Nazis.

You're trying to censor people's right to free speech by this weird tirade of yours against using the word nazi in association with crows. That's rather Nazi-esque in itself.

And wings is right - not all Nazis were or are Germans so the only people who should truly be offended by the old title would be Nazis themselves

  • Pretty big baby there. Never seen a baby crow but I have seen plenty of adults. Mostly here though we have vultures... and they are much larger than crows. I hope I never find a baby vulture. *grin*

What was the lawsuit about? The bird? I am confused now. I will read the comments though to see if that was already answered. =)

    - Heidi

  • karas - machi no moribito

    (anime reference)

  • First, why in the hell is people talking about nazi's all the sudden?

Second WOW, you can hear that beautiful bird breathe heard. They are so pretty Crows, Ravens whatever you call them very pretty creatures, very.

  • the crows were originally called "nazi crows" in the vid title.

    Apparently that's offensive. :|

  • Japanese crows are evil....pure evil.

Shibuya on a Sunday morning is crow paradise...

    Den of Evil!

  • Nazis will always be the embodiment of evil villains. Hundreds of WWII movies and video games can't be wrong!

  • Was ist lost mit dir? man, do you need a hug or something? This is just sad. It sounds like you are trying to defend the Nazis not Germans. Give it a rest

  • I see this kind of stuff a lot lately. Trying to make something look better by camparing it to other evil things. Nazism is part of world history. Making a word nazi a taboo is ridiculous. You can take it one step further like Russian government is doing. They say that the countries they ocupied after ww2 were in fact liberated.

  • That was so sweet!!!

  • Most fledglings done grow up to make it to their first year: predation, starvation, accidents in migration, cats, hawks, encounters with windows, encounters with cars, etc., etc. It's hard to watch a wild critter injured die, but that's the thing they do best. All creatures that reproduce in sufficient quantities continue; those that don't (pandas for example) perhaps need our help. An interesting video.

  • don't peck victor!

  • don't veck pictor!

  • That was nuts!!!! I've never been attacked by crows. those suckers are big here in Japan too!!!!

  • the crows in japan have been known to have links with Al Queda. They poop on pro-american politician cars every chance they get

  • @DreaMeRHoLic

    Whaaaat ?

Everyone knows that evil crows are nazi.

  • Hey DreammeRHolic,

Germans are not Nazis. Nazis are Nazis. If you're a Nazi you have a right to be offended, but not for just being German. But just to be nice, I changed it. Dat OK wich you?

  • There is nothing wrong with being from Germany or German. It's not racist to be anti-nazi, or wrong to insinuate that something bad is "nazi" though. I don't know what the original title was, but I'm sure you are missing whatever mark you were trying to hit.

  • Respect for caring my friend...

  • I hope you didn't catch the bird flu.

  • lol, too cute. I have a crow's nest in my front yard (with three little crowlings(?) right now.

Chickadees are still nesting their eggs, with a little chipmunk and his wife that come along every day).

Blue jays are really cute too, but make some of the ugliest morning noises I've ever heard; I recently rescued one with a broken wing from my front yard; luckily, in less than a couple weeks, I was able to release it again (sadly, had to use the cage of my cockatiel who just passed away).

  • This happened to me when I was 7. There were alot more than 2 or 3. And they were Pigeons.

  • That was thing you did

  • crows always kill some of the baby birds in my backyard
