yep a newt indeed, it is very pretty, she is unnaturally dark though, marbled newts are usually a bright lime green colour on a black bachground.

not so much rare, but you dont see them particularly often no.

nope never had a salamander, had a few treefrogs etc but i prefer reptiles. =]

hey, nope Kaya is a Marbled Newt, a European species that reaches up to 8 inches in length, she is a female and was 7 inches before she lost the last few inches of her tail

when that photo was taken, she had swollen lymph nodes, its no major problem, to "help" provide a more varied diet

o kl ur very lucky ive got 2 geckos 1 female leopard just over 1year and i brought a male about 17months old leucistic brownish gecko 3days ago can u tell me when you might think it will be suitable to put a laying box

oh your gecko lol, possibly but theres no harm in keeping it in there, she can use it as a moist hide for shedding until she lays
