  • Amazing. Don't know how he kept it together on stage, seeing all those people holding up pictures of their lost loved ones.

  • this song was so phophetic. and beautiful

  • James Taylor, good job.

  • The only thing I did NOT like was Bill Clinton. . . He just HAD to say "a good friend of Hillary and mine. . ." He's always propping himself up with some celebrity. I can't stand that man!

  • @CRenee127 you're an idiot.

  • @brianjohara

Go To Hell, Asshole! There are a LOT of people who don't like him. He embarrassed our country throughout the world with his low life self indulgence and desires. I'm entitled to my opinion of him. So 'F' You!

  • Very moving to see this i was only 9 when it happened so this is my first time watching this.

  • Clinton acts like he's at a birthday bash. No respect for the victims. It's always about him. James Taylor on the other hand is very somber and respectful.

  • Been said before, I know, but how very fitting the words, "But I always thought I'd see you again." God Bless America on September 11, 2011...and always.

  • I remember gasping when I heard him sing, "sweet dreams & flying machines in pieces on the ground," and bursting into to tears. The irony of those words - written so long ago - and becoming so appropriate - stunned me. Thank you, James Taylor, for sharing this with NYC & the world. G-d bless you ~

  • VH-1 is broadcasting the entire concert today commercial free from 4-10PM est.

  • this really did make me cry too

  • i remember watching this live---man did make me cry

  • think theres a lot to be said, for bill clintons demeanor ,during this terrible time!!politics aside,he seemed to actually care about what had happened to his fellow americans

  • watch the New Clinton Chronicles.

  • This is REAL music by a REAL musician!

  • I still get tears in my eyes when I watch him sing this. The world felt so bad for all those poor people in New York.

  • This is one of those songs you hear and it doesn't matter who you are, where you're from, or what you've experienced-you can relate in some way, shape, or form. James Taylor is epic.

  • Not a dry eye in the house when he did this song.

  • sweet dreams and fine machines in pieces on the ground. amen.

  • @weirdguy75 A stark raving idiot....and sadly there are too many people that think like this person!

  • he's a gentle hippie!!

  • Fire and rain. Tears.

  • I had never seen James Taylor jump on stage before I saw this video

  • Much Love to all watching this......Well done for posting this Thank you

  • 0 dislikes... Lets keep it that way!

  • What a concert- McCartney,Clapton,Taylor, The WHo, and so mnay ohter great classic bands

  • I had tears in my eyes when I saw this show. I felt so bad for all those poor people and this song struck home. "Sweet dreams and flying machines in pieces on the ground" about said it all.

  • Mr. James Taylor's songs will always be a part of my music listening. I remember when he first came out with "up on the roof" I was in college. He's still awsome!! This video is the best. I've seen it about 100 times now!
