we lived below a geezer who had bad tourettes and one day we were so fucked off with him shouting we played this tune full blast and shouted along with the 5 6 7 8 and when it finished he was silent for the rest of the day! top tune!!
every friday and saturday you knew you were in didn't ya at crowland road. And do you remember the ratpack in his heyday they were my fondest memories.
@dazlants Crowland Road was the shit back in the day. Jim the Musicman, Ellis D, Bones and Ratpack used to smash it all over the place back then.
It was the roughest pit on earth back then, sweat dripping from the ceiling, bass box you could step inside and the greatest group of guys you'd ever likely to meet. We used to get down there 4-5 times a month and loved every second of it. Shame there's been nothing like it since. Labyrinth was pretty good but nothing on the Nuthouse :)
@ZaPpaul the nuthouse what a place loved it. those nutter dogs out back, that little kid wandering about, some bird on crutches{christmas 89]and smiley culture toastin his bollocks off. Thats about all i can remember means i must of been doing something right We used to come up from Kent nearly every sat untill it closed some bird at the end of the road telling everyone to go to silver city shit hole so we went to lea bridge rd an that place was great too plus under the arches great times !!!
Cheers you made a oldskool raver a happy man now we need a time machine to get back there, and im from hackney my self so i know the score cheers dude...
Commin from "Up North" it was a bit of a trek but ive actually been to Labrinth, was invited down by friends id met at Crete, had a top night...proper hardcore.
