Floyd Mayweather is the MJ of boxing (not Michael Jackson, but he has excellent feet). Although, he is not the only undefeated boxer ( Rocky Marciano) he has an unmatchable skill level. Footwork is the most under rated skill in boxing. To beat Floyd you have to corner and trap him. Manny couldnt corner slow ass Mosley, you think he can corner Floyd? Besides that Floyd has the reach advantage. This fight has mis match written all over it. Arum is a chump and so is Manny for following him.

Hearns was a legend and always will be but, Hearn's didn't remain undefeated or take out 5 weightclasses (leapfrogging one). He only fought 6 welterweight bouts in his whole career including Ortiz that'll make 7... His 1st fight at welterweight was with Sharmba Mitchell. Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but please consider Floyd's skills and work ethic. For those that say all of his fights were chosen because he knew he could win and say "Manny is a better fighter." Footwork is the most under rated skill in boxing. To beat Floyd you have to corner and trap him. Manny couldnt corner slow ass Mosley, you think he can corner Floyd? Hearns was a legend and always will be but, Hearn's didn't remain undefeated or take out 5 weightclasses (leapfrogging one). It all comes back to what you like to see in a fight, Personally I thought Tommy Hearns had alot of weaknesses although a great of the sport. There are far too many belts and divisions and people are sick of seeing the actual boxers pick and choose their fights. He only fought 6 welterweight bouts in his whole career including Ortiz that'll make 7... His 1st fight at welterweight was with Sharmba Mitchell. Respond to this video...but no way under the sun should floyd be in a top 5 but thats your opinion! boxing has seen much better days talent wise! i think when it comes to the sport of boxing memories are very short! i remember how great roy jones used to be along with leonard,hearns and hagler..i remember roberto duran being possibly the greatest lightweight who ever lived mayweather looks invincible simply because theres no 1 in boxing as of now who can expose him!

@youz1uglybish ... Mayweather is on my top 5 P4P fighters ever because he promptly meets his opponents at the desired weight. WITHOUT CATCHWEIGHT and has been very successful in doing so. As much credit as everyone gives Pacquaio, I think Mayweather deserves the same, maybe even more credit. You May not like his style, but he gets the job done regardless. @youz1uglybish Last but not least, Mayweather Jr is a great great boxer. He deserves credit where it is due. I'm not saying you can respect his "swag" or "Arrogance", but rather respect what he does inside that ring, and the work he puts in to make him one of the best of this era. I personally dislike his attitude, but the way he fights is something to behold, therfore he is one of my favorite fighters.

@BorgesProdu i beleive floyd is 1 of the 3 best defensive fighters ever! personally i think pernell whitaker was the best defensive fighter of all time with mayweather a close second followed by willie pep at third! i always acknowledge his talent but look who he's fought lmao compared to greats before him mayweathers competition is laughable! and honestly when he fights pacquiao and wins a lopsised U.D because pacman coudnt use EPO and HGH all thru out his training camp it wont be a big deal!

@youz1uglybish Well i guess we can't blame Floyd for the quality of fighters. I just like the way he dominates his fighters and makes them look average. Personally as of yet, I believe Floyd hasn't truly established himself as a great welterweight having only had 4 Welterweight fights although leap frogging to 154 to beat Oscar was amazing. Ortiz will allow Floyd to establish himself more.

Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but please consider Floyd's skills and work ethic. For those that say all of his fights were chosen because he knew he could win and say "Manny is a better fighter." Consider the fact that Floyd fought some of the same fighters as Manny but Floyd did it at the fighters normal fighting weight. Not at a weight they had to struggle to get to which will drain any human of their ability to perform at their best.

well footwork also includes cutting off the ring well, pacman does so by bombarding his opponant with his combo which are wild yet very fluid, yet he still comes in a straight line, where as mayeather tactically cuts off the ring the way he did mosley, judah, also the only way pacman rreally hurts money is if money stands and trade shots, manny having the faster combo's will get the better of but we all it wont play out that way, after the mosley fight, i see floyd stopping paqiuo late

@osjehdhfjfnf Floyd did end hattons career, coming from the same place as hatton myself we all thought hatton was going to destroy mayweather, but he didnt, they both went into that fight with everything to lose seen as though neither of them have ever been beaten before in their careers, mayweather outclassed him, out boxed him etc. Since hatton got beat off mayweather hatton has done nothing pretty much in the sport of boxing, if hatton would of beat floyd, then it would be different story

Manny cannot win a boxing match against Floyd but he stand a greater chance in a brawl. The problem is that it is very difficult to engage Floyd ina Brawl. He has to catch Floyd early like Mosely did. Floyd is a counter puncher that needs a round or two to gage the speed of his opponent I think that Manny has the speed that can surprise Floyd early as Judah did. Otherwise Manny stands little chance at winning because he has never done well against a great boxer eg. Marquez and morales 1.
