Basically, what happened was, Murdoc wanted to get rid of someone who was bugging him, so brought the set down on him, sending Noodle to Hell in the process.

Gorillaz built a cyborg version of Noodle that appears in the video to "Stylo". In "On Melancholy Hill", Noodle returns from Hell wearing a mask, but is attacked by pirates. And in the as-yet unproduced "Rhinestone Eyes", she meets the cyborg version of herself, and we see that under the mask she has a scarred eye.

@emilzahid Es una laaaarga historia. Te contaré. En lo ficticio, Jamie Hewlett (el que los dibuja en la vida real) les propuso de hacer un vídeo en el que Noodle debía estar en el molino de viento y luego le llegarían unos helicópteros a atacarla. Después el molino iba a caer pero Noodle tendría un paracaidas. Pero al parecer les salió mal el vídeo y Noodle se fue con el molino y supuestamente murió pero se le puede ver viva en el vídeo de On Melancholy Hill.
