  • well, its better to have more than you need, than not enough, I'll spend 300 in gauges over 3,000.00 for a new motor, if ya do alot of mech or rebuild engines enough, ya'll appreciate em

  • damn man, u got gauges stashed everywhere in that truck. lol

  • @NP535overdrive , just close your mouth, open your ears, and get off ur knee's buddy....

  • yes, they are headers, with true dual straight pipes, 2 1/2" , they come out almost to the rear axle, cause I never finished it, but yeah they are loud as hell, but its a 460 motor, they have a different sound as compared to the small blocks

  • @stuntman257 you probably know but you might wana go ahead and extend the striaght pipe all the way back so you dont burn a valve.

  • @grem700 you do know that is a myth, they have been that way for almost 8 years, and before that I had open headers for a winter. I rebuilt engines for 4 years and it is not true

  • Are they true dual straight pipes? and does it have cats?? Cause right now i have a 79 f150 with a built 351w in it, with dual glasspacks no cats. I been thinkin about running straights, but not sure how loud that would be.

  • 4 sale ?

  • yes the drive train is, but not the motor

  • sounds like a diesel.... but nice ford truck

  • @lunaticam550

no diesel, 460, looking for a 12 valve cummins though to do a swap in there

  • @lunaticam550 , what diesels are you hearing that sound like that?

  • Sounds like you have the carb dialed in good - crisp throttle response! You should put all the gauges on one panel - little tough to read with them scattered all over the dash isn't it? Sounds awesome!

  • i love how the tach goes up to 10 grand

  • @Deere55

maybe it was in a race car at one time, lol, or somthin that might actually come close to hittin that

  • how did the headers fit? and what brand/length

  • can body lifts take a good amount of punishment in terms of off-roading? or do suspension lifts have more/better off-road capabilities?

  • definately go suspension first, then body if u want some more lift quick and easy

  • Go with the suspension life. Body lifts suck!

  • Sounds awesome!!!

  • watcha got in her? i have a 428 in mine(:
