well, its better to have more than you need, than not enough, I'll spend 300 in gauges over 3,000.00 for a new motor, if ya do alot of mech or rebuild engines enough, ya'll appreciate em
yes, they are headers, with true dual straight pipes, 2 1/2" , they come out almost to the rear axle, cause I never finished it, but yeah they are loud as hell, but its a 460 motor, they have a different sound as compared to the small blocks
@grem700 you do know that is a myth, they have been that way for almost 8 years, and before that I had open headers for a winter. I rebuilt engines for 4 years and it is not true
Are they true dual straight pipes? and does it have cats?? Cause right now i have a 79 f150 with a built 351w in it, with dual glasspacks no cats. I been thinkin about running straights, but not sure how loud that would be.
Sounds like you have the carb dialed in good - crisp throttle response! You should put all the gauges on one panel - little tough to read with them scattered all over the dash isn't it? Sounds awesome!

@stuntman257 you probably know but you might wana go ahead and extend the striaght pipe all the way back so you dont burn a valve.

can body lifts take a good amount of punishment in terms of off-roading? or do suspension lifts have more/better off-road capabilities?
stinkbomb13 3 years ago
definately go suspension first, then body if u want some more lift quick and easy
ndubb1 3 years ago
Go with the suspension life. Body lifts suck!
