She didn't want to lose me as a friend. Because she cherished me as a friend, and I cherished her as a friend as well, but that doesn't stop the pain of me being hurt by her. I'm over the girl, but I'm not over the pain. Do you think I should stay away from her for a while, until I get back on my feet and become "me" again?
My ex and I were friends before we started dating, before we began our relationship we made an agreement to be friend's again if it didn't work out. The relationship was good for about a month until something happened ( not gonna go into detail ) But then two days after the break up as I was trying to burn bridges with her she called one of my friends so they could get me on the phone and talk to her. Me being the dumpee/idiot I talked to her on the phone to see what she wanted..

I've been going through a breakup for 5 months. Devastation, anger, bitterness, sorrow, rejection. I feel it all. We have lived together for over 2 yrs. We share a car, a home, pets. Neither of us are in the financial position to move out, making it impossible for me to heal and move on. I am terrible hurt, mainly because the break up was online even without a video connection. Thus I had no opportunity to see her emotions and express mines. I have been watching tones of advices, but your message is mostly sensitive and not just a synthetic list of rules, do's and don't's. Thank you.
