  • 1:24-1:41 Where is the all video?

  • Hey I do that stuff! :D Well, I just started but im a perfect base or at least that is what my coach says. lulz

  • wow, how long does it take to actully get good at this stuff? lolz, its amazing

  • Haha, nice choice of music!

  • i do acro and my coach said that it hasnt been put into the olympics yet because not enough countries are participating in it. thats so unfair though! :(

  • were do u do it..i do it but not competition and would like to find a proper club and were do u get ur costumes from?

  • @willowpiratefreak2 there is also the age question since most of the flyers are less than16!! Gymnastic is already an exception, they can't do one more for acro... So sad!

  • @fudji39210 And what about diving, where the limit is 14??

  • @gymnasticfan Wooh!! I just saw that, I didn't know! Incredible! I searched on the web and actually, the age limit is determined by each federation. So that in diving, it's 14.

Then, I change my opinion! This is so unfair for acrobatic gymnastic!!

  • Ive seen like half of them compete!

    love that sport

  • That was incredible!!! Those girls in the pink rule. I'd love to try that.

  • & yes, they are including acro at 2012 :] one of the older girls at my gym has really high hopes to go! not for me yet tho ;)

  • Are you sure bout the acro thing in 2012??? As much as we all hope and pray I dont think they are...

  • This is definately not confirmed. It would be awesome if acro was in 2012 but the would have to drop either artistic gym, rhythmic or trampoline and that wont happen

  • i do acro and artistic :]

    nice montage!

  • Sorry, I've got a question

    I know nothing about gymnastics

Well a friend of mine wants to learn how to do flips, turns and an 'aerial' (sorry, spelling? No handed cartwheel)

And there's a few choices in her classes.

    Aerobic gymnastics and acrobatic gymnastics.

    Which one should she choose?

    Please reply if you know

    Thank you so much

  • Well, I am not much into Aerobics. I think that in both class, you can learn those skills, but they are not the principal ones in either.

  • Anyway, I think she/he should choose acro. (SHe/He will learn sooner on a springy floor.

  • Thank you so much :D

  • does anyone know where i can get new music?? it would be greatly appreciated! :)

  • i do acro as well. Xtreme Atheletics! 1st place Level 6 Team Trophy! FAvorites for the level 8 team trophy!

  • Don't worry, the are planning to include acro in the 2012 olympics!

    can't wait!

  • What?!?! Are you sure? Where did you hear that?

  • Are you kidding? Who did you hear this from?

  • its true they are, i saw it in the news. I'm sure i did.

  • @KiriTunes hmmm doesnt look like it....

  • A very nice compilation. I think this would give people a good introduction to the sport as well. Kudos!

  • Artistic gymnastics is worried, because acro is more interesting to watch, because it involves tumbling, flexibility, stunning balance, dynamis elements...and is just so much better!!!

  • No it isn't! Artistic gymnastic is great! Don't get me wrong , acrobatic gymnastics is fine in it's own way but do you have to insult artistic gymnastics like that? For one tumbling is not all of gymnastics though that's the first thing people think of when they do gymnastics, artistic uses just as much flexibility and balance too , and has it's own greatness.

  • artistic is wank

  • hey, i know that song... where is it from? who's de artist??

  • I think acro should be an olympic sport as well. Rhythmic gymnastics is, and they use stuff like hoops and balls, and we use other people.. (dont get me wrong, i love rg!).. but rg is spectacular as well, and so is acro.. i dont quite understand that, acro is something completly different then the regular gymnastics:S

  • i agree what you mean...because I'm acrobat to in Hungary...and epople dosn't know what is acro or this is real sport!!.....I'm so sad but when i showing what is this activity:-)...everybody have opening mouth

  • Szia! Ha magyar vagy, nekem nyugodtan írhatsz magyarul is! :-)

  • dey've been tryin 2 get it in2 d olympics for 20 years, but artistic gymnastics have voted against it saying that it will take the attention away from "classic" gymnastics because acro is more dynamic 2 watch.

  • The problem is that they are right. After a few years, people would like it as much as Artistic Gymnastic. So I fear that it might never be an Olympic Sport. :o( Which is simply not fair

  • I know how hard it is I also did Acro for yrs. Any where we can d/load this great vid?!!

    Go Acro!

  • I totaly agree with it being an olimpic spot!

I have done it for ten years now,and think we would win so many more medals.

    Plus- It is very hard!

  • if they only knew how hard it was! and how much effort we have to put into it! it should be an olympic sport deffinatley!

  • awesome gymnastics! this really should be an olympic sport, it would get way more people involved!

  • The problem is that way too many people don't even know that this is a real sport. They usually associate these kind of stuff with the circus. And they enjoy it very much. If only they knew...

  • I think, in most countries they know;)

  • no, the problem is that only asians will win, cause they are way better at this stuff than bulky inflexable caucasians like me.

  • No, Asians hardly ever won. Nowadays, Belarus, Russia, England, Belgium and America are the leading countries, at least according to the information I get.
