  • In the summer night, the heat oppressed, And we were wrestled from our rest. The winds yielded no relief With their thin veil that upon us pressed. It was to be a night of too much grief That extended beyond the morning's peek. The night transformed us to the beast, And we knew humanity birthed Decrease. Yet our perdition could not all deplete, For a sanguine ghost ensconced us from defeat, And gently relinquished our tawdry bonds Spilling the demon's sordid clench upon man.
  • Perfect.

  • WOW!!!!!!

    Awesome.

  • The horror of sexuality...

  • is it supposed to mean something? if so please tell me

  • you know, it doesn't really work that way... not with art in general, nor with butoh in particular.... i mean you're not supposed to try and reduce "it" down to a "right" explanation. it's there, it's what it is (possibly abstract, surely archaic and so on), and what it "means" for you is completely up to you. so, as a butoh teacher might say, "ask your life"...

  • It´s a great performance!!! So beatiful!

  • okay, that was totally awesome

  • This is a very beautiful piece!

  • Thank you for posting your Butoh films.
