I was there that night, it was awesome. You could walk around the park and literally see no one else. Only bad thing was Nitro and Kingda Ka were closed. I heard Nitro was going to reopen but when they decided to close the park at 7:30 instead of 10:00 they didn't bother to reopen Nitro.

This actually is not the same track as bizarro. They actually painted it purple, added in speakers, added effects, and they changed up the track a little.

It was closed because the park decided not to open it due to the low attendance and all of the rain. I am sure it was closed. Remember this was a private event and the park was not open to the public.

yes i know but wen i went 2 weeks ago the staff told me nitro is open always no matter how much thunder,rain, or anything else there is. Its just always open since it reeally isnt that bad it just goes fast

Unless there is a breakdown or problem that causes a ride to close, all rides are open on weekdays.

yea i though thety should sell tickets for 50 on weekdays and 25 on weekends. I tohught that maybe since its 25 dollas they close half the rides but that would be stupid and lazy of them

This ride was insane. I loved it! I couldn't believe how long it took to get up the first incline and how long the ride lasted. I remember looking down just before the first drop and seeing all the little animals below, and wondering if my shoe would stay on.

Medusa sounds better then Bizzaro but Bizzaros colors (purple & blue) are better then Medusas (yellow nd purple)

Hmm, a premium pass holder huh? Well then you should know that you're not supposed to video tape the rides. If you're caught, you can get kicked out of Six Flags (all thirteen parks) for life

I completely agree with where your coming from and am aware of this rule. I was actually almost hit with an object on a ride once, but when this POV was recorded the train was empty and it was a spur of the moment thing. I did not know my sister planned on the POV until we were on the lift but this is still no excuse. Regardless, I am happy to have a POV of Medusa that I was a part of before the transformation and obviously I am not the only premium pass holder who has broken this rule.

Well I am a ride operator, not at Great Adventure, but some other park and I have seen and even kicked people out myself for cameras, so I'm just giving a friendly reminder :-)

Just to add a bit to that--the reason why we don't have any loose articles on the coasters is not so much that you can hit someone behind you--well, that's not good either, but more so that (and it's happened before) the loose articles might become...well, loose! Medusa--err, Bizarro now, comes rather close to the guests, and a cellphone/camera flying through the air at 61 mph isn't going to be gentle on the guest it lands on. Plus we don't want you guys to break your stuff! :P It's safety!

Yeah this visit was great and I still have the videos from Skull Mountain and the Skyride on my phone too. Hopefully there will be more videos like this to come this season.
