@suryalinaten10 Problem is people are really short sighted when it comes to music. Their eyes/ears are either on the frontman or the guitarist that can play every scale in every song he plays... People forget the reason music exists is because it insights emotion and makes us feel good, random shredding doesn't do much... A vocalist can, but you need good sound from the singer and everyone else and this band comes together AMAZINGLY.

On the Xbox 360, if you plug your controller and a standard headset in as one player, and use a guitar controller as a 2nd player, you could theoretically sing and play guitar at the same time.

I would say get Rock Band 2 because it has a never ending Library list and it keeps going also the learning curve for the instruments is easier than for Guitar Hero's. But really I am just a opinion it is really your choice.

I've played both and I can honestly say that Rock Band 2 is better. The set list may not have any Van Halen or Ozzy Ozbourne, but it is clear that Harmonix (creators of the original guitar hero games) are true music lovers. The note patterns are much more fun to play and more accurate, as they don't add unnecessary notes for difficulty like guitar hero. Plus, the band coop is better b/c when one person fails, it is possible to save them and save the band, unlike in Guitar Hero.
