  • Why doesn't underdeveloped America have these already?!? If they're faster, more efficient, and don't pollute, why not spend money on them instead of bombing countries for their oil?

  • @ACfireandiceDC

Because the bloody Israel-supporting Zionist lobbyists (esp. AIPAC, AJC, ADL etc.) who influence your gouvernment do not want that. War is a more efficient way to make money...

    Benjamin Freedman is greeting (watch?v=XQapkVCx1HI)

  • @ACfireandiceDC America has the Inductrack. It's much better than the Transrapid or the japanese systems.

  • @ACfireandiceDC

If the US would "bomb other countries for their oil", the US would have huge oil reserves and fuel in the US would be super cheap. Since none of these is true, your claim is pure bs.

  • @ACfireandiceDC There are more money in warfare than in maglev tech :P war is really big cash!

  • Ja, das wäre super gewesen. Verdammte Geldgeilheit der Investoren!

  • Das wäre mal was!

  • @K1nd3rschr3ck

was will man auch von denen (wie von den meisten anderen deutschen Parteien) erwarten?

Innovative Neuentwicklungen einführen+deutsche Firmen dabei unterstützen? Fehlanzeige.

  • This technology was pioneered by the Japs!! - sorry! :)

  • @xesionprince hahaha not its and german invention so sry for you first inform before flame such dump things ...

  • @Klinge92 lol - either your very drunk or can't write English properly, 'before flame such dump things' what the hell is that supposed to mean lol

  • @xesionprince Sorry - I believe the first patents were over 100 years ago to a German inventor. Its amazing how good our German cousins are...England has been left behind, socialism destroyed us.

  • we are stupid we Germans we give it to China but theres every thing MADE IN CHINA

  • @adawilkes1 I am a liberal, and I think that's a great idea.

  • @adawilkes1 Wow misunderstanding, I'm all for getting the Maglev and stopping the war, et al, but look at my latest comment to venturafor2012. I'll just copy and paste it: Of course, I totally agree with you, but the chance of that happening before our expected pullout is zero, the republicans will forever shoot down any chance for progress and they have too much power now...

  • @adawilkes1 Amtrak has about 21,000 miles of track. A study by the United States Federal Railroad Administration put the price per mile for an American Maglev system at 111.5 million. So that's 2.31 trillion dollars to convert Amtrak to Maglev. Good luck getting that funding, even for maybe replacing just Acela (which would be 50.8 billion dollars).

  • Bah this video is full of CG. Japanese already archieved 581km/h in real.

  • @adawilkes1 we should replace AmTrak with this Maglev.

  • @venturafor2012 Amtrak has about 21,000 miles of track. A study by the United States Federal Railroad Administration put the price per mile for an American Maglev system at 111.5 million. • @cavaderblood

According to the Center for Defense Information, the estimated cost of the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan will reach $1.29 trillion by the end of fiscal year 2011.

If we leave Afghanistan now (as we should) we can use that money to upgrade Amtrak to Maglev

2.31tr - 1.29tr = 1.02tr I'm shure we can somehow raise that 1.02tr to upgrade our own country and it'll create jobs, job that we need now!

  • @venturafor2012 Of course, I totally agree with you, but the chance of that happening before our expected pullout is zero, the republicans will forever shoot down any chance for progress and they have too much power now...

  • was iist ja ein geiles video

  • @Jennifer40014 ich hab dich lieb :)

  • @EinzelstueckBK

  • Hopefully it won't take lng until we have these trains. Finally.

  • I'VE DECIDED TO CHANGE MY VOCATION IN LIFE. I'M GOING TO BE A MAGLEV

ENGINEER/ PILOT, OR AT LEAST I COULD ASPIRE TO BE A MAGLEV CONDUCTOR. I WISH.

  • Awesome video dude

  • does anyone know where to get the sound effect from 0:03 - 0:06?

    Thanks

  • What's the status on this line ? Has it been built ?

  • @jeffdarga100 itl never be build :( we in germany are not able to develop things completely, we talk everything to grave :(

  • SERBIA needs roads too .. they have very few . highways ... Rail transport is almost non existent with trains there run at speeds over

    40 km/h //// and are late at least 30 minutes ...

  • Das Überzug

  • advance societies always travel using advance forms of transportation by foot ox cart bicycle steam train automobile electric car high speed rail system FLYING SAUCERS LOL now you see how behind automobiles are !! agree ??? are you just a mere chauffeur a driver to your car ? still a slave to your 100 year old technology vehicle TIME TO MOVE ON like weve abandoned coal/steam trains

  • germany has really really cool tech!

  • @Yuukisakamoto MAGLEV TECH CAME FROM JAPAN.......

  • @FruityLoopsas Maglev did not Come from Japan. Maglev Technology Started with the British but they abandoned the technology. The Germans took the maglev idea from the Brits and made it to work. The Chinese bought the idea from the Germans and started using it and the Japanese perfected it. Now the Germans have taken back the Maglev technology and are now perfecting it like the Japanese. The UK is also making preparations for its own maglev too.

  • @FruityLoopsas He doesnt mean it came from Germany,he just said Germany has nice tech.

  • If this is the case then i would say Australia is about 190 years behind Germany in technology..

  • German Technik is the Best.Alle anderen Klauen nur.

  • It has been a mistake...?

    London-Paris-Cologne-Berlin....

    Dresden-Prag-Budapest....

  • I tell you what I would do and if it could be done. Is rather then living in a bid city, why not just live out in the country, then take the meglev into the city, then about 30 yards away from the train station, go to a building that stores small or medium size electric / hybrid vehicles (one that you own of course). then use that vehicle to drive to your destination (if needed). This might be efficient in some cases, but not sure though.

  • @train52000 and every house would have maglev station right? Maglev's will probably be for Intercity travel as someone metioned (London-Paris-Cologne-Berlin... and stuff) If they'd make them awesomelly accelerating, but slow (let's say only 160km/h or something), but comfortable enough so you wouldn't leave your head back at the station when it starts, then it would be awesome for the overground or underground.

  • Nice technology. Works wonders in heavy short-medium distance traffic situations.

Still too costly for anything less than 80% ridership over the day. Awesome way to welcome people from Airport.

  • It's absolutely time to do something different. Let me ask anyone looking. If you could get on a system that could take you from close to your home to close to your final destination, short and long haul, in a safe, cost effective manner, would you be willing to give owning a car?

  • i guess everyone would agree on a fast, economic, enviro-friendly, and comfortable public transport..

  • Never in a million years would i give up owning a car its way more easy and convienent to use ...unless you talk about traffic in busy cities but then again why would you want to live in a huge rat trap like new york or london or any other big city lol and besides with the technology we have at our finger tips RIGHT NOW! we could all be driving electric cars that are powered by the sun or geothermal or tidal power stations but WE CHOOSE NOT TO!

  • Check out Skytran. It's a PRT collaboration between NASA & Unimodal Systems. I believe this one would work. Non-stop, 150 MPH top speed, MAG-lev technology, and 200 MPG equivalent, even at 100 MPH!

  • @ratzasse That's way too slow. Even a conventional regional train nearly goes that speed here in Germany (The fastest goes 140 mph!). And if you then take into consideration how fast the MagLev in Japan is... then that project won't work anywhere but in cities.

  • I'd still keep my car, but I'd use this a lot more often, and maybe only use the car to go in rural areas where the train doesn't go :D

  • The United States needs this badly. Personally I could care less where it originates. In China the system being used is Transrapid which is German and that is already in service. The Japanese system is still in testing and has not become the commuter savior yet. The technology exists right now for maglevs that could reach over 600 mph. That is 972kph. As long as one stays about 20mph short of the sound barrier it will be fine. Incredible speed will get people out of their cars.

  • This will happen anyway if we run out of oil=)

  • when we run out of oil nothing will happen at all unless you count total world WAR!

  • world war without oil?? lol with what fuel?

  • it will be total war any means will be used to come out on top!

  • @dunnobutwayne

nuclear electric power i guess, or something biologic

  • nooooo

  • But Germany makes better products than the Japanese...

  • ICE IS BETTER THAN SHINKANSEN?

  • @number1Schumacherfan Yeah, and that's why they collided head-on. Amazing technology.

  • @number1Schumacherfan The Japanese are way ahead of everyone. The smartest people in the world are Japanese.

  • @number1Schumacherfan maybe in the past...now, the workers in German factories are Turks, gypsies, and albanians!!!!

  • @golubinci oh really. haha. No, I'm afraid you are entirely wrong. They are the cab drivers and contsruction workers. They are like mexicans in the usa.

  • @number1Schumacherfan I DOUBT ABOUT IT......

  • @number1Schumacherfan Nicht wirklich. In deutschland gabs schon mehrere Crash's bei hochgeschwindigkeitszügen..

  • @number1Schumacherfan

True, but Japan is better at innovation. :D

  • Best implemented on shot haul trips only

    Airports

    Express commutes

    Vacation spots

    Not viable over 1000 miles

  • Anything's possible, especially if you see how much money we spend on roads.

  • Yeah, our goverments only care for money, soon Asia has it all, and we rely on them.

  • speak the truth

  • ...till they crumble on their basis. Especially the ever-contradictory and fast (too?) growing China.

But for now, China's banks are paying for US's public debt, so indeed.

  • and do not forget who allows them to do so ... good old times of protecting home production with import taxes.

  • It's not a shitty project. Just expensive as hell.

  • we need roads in Romania!

  • haha,and many more...

  • @hacherul What for ?

  • Stoibers Traum haha

  • WE NEED THE TRAIN IN MUNICH!!!!!!!!!

  • @mysteriouskazakh: his name is edmund stoiber not fritz^^

  • this is just SIMULATION this train is real buth this shows only simulation its working on HIGH ENERGY POWERED MAGNETS if ELECTRIC IS DOWN TRAIN CRASH on RAILS WHIT HIS Body sry for caps loc

  • are you serious? You HONESTLY think they were trying to pass this off as video footage?

    It's a simulation.

  • sucker

  • This is Germany technology :]

  • Oh jes..but.. its German tech. without "Y".

of Course, Siemens+ ThyssenKrupp+Bombardier is th ebest combi you can do^^

  • yes but future plans for europe for 2060 are to have london stretch to far eatern europe tunnels with trains with no air in the tunnel, HENCE no air resistance the one problem with anything from cars to aircraft, get rid of that and the next problem is the g forces on humans haha but you could rech much faster speeds than aircraft and the trains would use near as much fuel and would be cheaper in the long run.

  • at 0:27, that station is fuckin awesome.

  • I don't want to disappoint you guys, but levitation trains have no future. Impressive technology, but a complete nonsense.

Bullets rains can reach any city using regular lines whereas maglev trains are incompatible with traditionnal railways and cost 3 times more. On much longer distances, plane will be prefered to maglev. Believe me, new maglev lines will never be built.

  • They are currently being build.

  • ok, and what about the train in china?

    itßs very successfull!

  • Anyone noticew the subliminal advert for Fritz Stoiber Productions at 0:29 ?

  • Yes I did!

  • Im Japanese and I was born in Germany.

Im glad im from Germany and Im Japanese.

I get both sides of the good technology!!!

  • if you against this then your against progress. don't be a hypocrit throw your computer, cell phone, tv and any technology in the bin now.

  • Strange that people can be so nasty in their comments! I don't suppose they'd act in the same way to a person face to face.

This was a great video. Maglev (wheels and all!) is the way ahead!

Sadly, we can only dream of such things here in Scotland. :(

  • I dont hate Germany, but what I feel disgusting is this.

ppl in Germany, French, British, Romania etc forms a team against Non-Whites like us Japanese. And try to make them better than Japan. In this token they dont care if they know they have slower train, they keep trying to deny Japanese Maglev is NOT A TRAIN. really disappointed. Ok. We dont care what Caucasians say about Japan. We strive harder. Actually JR is already trying to have 700KMPH Maglev. Ok. This is NOT A TRAIN.

  • Just an ignorant bastard, you want to compare the real things? France run at 574.8KM/h on normal track, RAILS, the only train Japan have on service is the shinkasen that can t go up 400KM/h, you re Maglev is testing since more than 10Years, and...nothing, plz shut up with your ignorance!

  • I come from Germany, and I don't hate Japan! Japan is cool:)

  • You should know that the shinkansen has a very different way to work.. as the TGV... the TGV isnt made to drive about tracks with lots of hills... also the TGV track dont has many curves.. if u can run a TGV @ a shinkansen track @ 574,8KM/h than u are good... shinkansen and his track is an AWESOME piece of techninology... it was build years before the first TGV has been builded... (TGV 1981 - shikansen 1964!!!)

  • sry for spam.. but this comment was an answer for another comment.. but i dont know why it has been postet as a new comment... sry

  • OK OK OK!!!! I'm on your side lol.

  • Transrapid <3

  • efef5t is a typical Korean agent. He is a fake Japanese. His purpose is to worsen the relation between Japan and other countries by playing a foolish Japanese. Please understand that many Korean agents are in YOUTUBE.

  • Foolish Japanese if you, kuinosenmonkey. Really disgusting. You have no guts to fight against White racist like me.

  • well done EUROPE. now if only england can be as advaced as that instead of their slow boring trains. ahhh well

  • What? Did france of Britain have Maglev, eh? hahhahha. German has normal Maglev, Japan has the fastest Maglev, France and britain has none of them. It is called a fact. lol

  • no one cares if its a maglev it dosnt matter it means that germany have found a way to develp a cheaper sort of maglev then the japs. britains trains are an embarrasement to europe i give that but france have a faster train then a maglev and certainly a better country. its called a fact lol.

  • "france have a faster train" than Japan? hey, what KMPH is it? temme, pleeze!! lol

  • its a real train not a fancy electronic maglev which hasnt even been built yet and it can reach speeds of up to 574kmph so suck on that you dirty jap, and what is temme, iv never heard of that word before :D

  • I think Japanese train obviously and logically superiour to your fuckin stuipd French train. simple arithemetic, can you undestand, mixed boy? 581-674=7(km/h)

  • your a racist aswell lol, a racist and a naive little japanese slimy pile of shit. the japanese maglev dosnt exist yet and the french train has been proved the fastest running train to date. fastest yet because it now actually transports passengers from a to b, but at this time the japanese maglev is a test model and isnt logically a train

  • Then, how do you define "train"?

maybe becoz you are mixed, your brain have some problem, eh?

  • a train has wheels and runs on a track, a maglev dosnt have wheels and is pulled along magneticly. so bassically your an idiot but i guess thats what happens when your a dirty jap, whats wrong with being mixeed, i celebrate two different cultures i love both so whats the problem???? a maglev is a prototype in japan and is more expensive and very dangerous whereas the tgv is cheap is real and is alot safer so suck that you dirty jap lool

  • Then, your difinition of "Train" is

"a train has wheels and runs on a track".

Dont use "train" when you try define it. Try again. And how should I call you in the first place? British or French?

  • HAHA, exellent comment, +5^^

  • he dosnt understand much about anything really, keeps talking about pride for some reason :D mixed up lol

  • what is British or French pride?

You didnt reply my question at all.

Fight with our Japanese pride, if you can. Asshole.

  • afef5t is such a dickhead, stop having a argument on youtube you gay, why are you talking about pride on a video about the maglev lol thats what im wondering, your mixed up i tell you. you must be an attention seeking 10yr old who gets all his knowledge from wikipedia or google

  • arl1991 is a "Prided" mixed blood of biritain the "lost" empire and French the ugly nosed girl's country.

Then let us know wat is your pride, a-ha?

  • dont forget the lost french empire aswell :p

they had 1 to, japan didnt. they dont have anything never will never have. it dosnt have wheels. its magnettically pulled along so dosnt require the use of wheels you ignorant bastard

  • You say "Maglev doesnt have wheels" but hahahha it have wheels, you ignorant Brit.

Horrible food in Brit made you lame eh?

  • to all of you idiots with shitty comments YOU KNOW NOTHING ABOUT THE WORLD

  • MADE IN GERMANY

  • in technical and engineering the germans are the best and dont forget that germany and the usa spends million of euros and dollars to support the japanese and chinese enconomy

  • I do not quite understand what you are saying about US and EU support on Japanese economy...Are you talking about Financial aids? Sorry, we do not have it. Or you mean Gov't Bond? Sorry...China and Japan hold 100s billion $ bonds from US. If we release it, you guys goes bankrupt. Know the fact, man.

  • ■Why korean hate japanese?■ 2

But ★Japan is not Confucianism's nation.★ from ancient.

Japan has very different society from

China and Korea which is Confucianism Society.

★Off couse, So-called Japan's Massacre in China and Korea is

entirey False propaganda spread by Chinese and Korean after WW2.★

After all, Korean hate Japanese by selfish reasons.

    It's not Japan's fault.

  • ■Why korean hate japanese?■ 1

    The True reason is that

Korea ranked upper than Japan by ranking based on ★Confucianism Society★

But the fact is that Japan is superior than korea on all aspects,

    through past 2000years

Korea is frustrated by that, and hate japanese.

  • absolumba is not Japanese,

he must be Korean living in Japan.

    `as the same Japanese,

    is Korean's favorite phrase.

Ordinary Japanese do not say like that.

Korean people hate Japanese,so they pretend

Japanese and say false to get down Japanese

    reputation.

  • Only 2 nations invented Full-fledged Maglev train by different way ,different system.

① ★JR-Maglev★ Japan Maximam speed 581 km/h It's Guinnes record currently the fastest train in the world very safe system

    ② ★Transrapid★ Germany

Maximam speed 501 km/h very dangerous system Shanghai Maglev introduced this one

③ ★Linimo★ Japan Maximam speed 100 km/h very safe system but slow

Because this fellow is a fool, please do not mind it.

I'm very ashamed as the same Japanese.

  • hey japanese friend!

how about you mention that the japanese maglev is much much more expensive and therefore hasn't been built yet?

and the german maglev is definitely not unsafe. we germans respect the japanese but i dont think you respect the germans. please change that attitude.

    aligato!

  • To SwedishPrincess66

Sorry,I cannot express my mind correctly in English. Because,It's still short time from

that I have started to learn English.

But it's sure that I and almost Japanese respect German and Cermany, because Cermany

is very famous of its Excellence in Japan.

So, Please don't get wrong. Danke!

P.S. absolumba must be Korean. don't care

  • × Cermany

    ○ Germany

    I missed the spell ,sorry.

  • The Japan Maglev have wheels

and The GERMAN Maglev is a very Hightech Systhem without any problems and he run in Shanghai and bring many people from A to B each day.

  • Its not true.

Over 20 people died in the accident that happened in Germany.

In China, German Maglev sometimes caused the trouble and a fire occurred two years ago.

  • Very true. Japan obviously superior to Germany at everything. hmmmm. so true. lol

  • In 2007 the german government decided not to use these maglevs because it wasn't economicly usable.

  • Everyone knows it is a worthy technology but its economic viability under present national resource economic management principles means that in terms of practical cost and benefits, it remains one that is initially employable in extreme high density population zones for so long as cheaper alternatives exist. On the other hand why doesn't Munich run it as a show piece of German technology even if it is a monetary drain for municipal administration, after it is a well proven technology?

  • Hi kwesigreat: The reason Munich doesn't run it as a show piece of German technology even (as you say) if it is a monetary drain for municipal administration, is because of ideological sophistry. If you study the history of the 3-thousand-year+ war between the anti-science, anti-development empiricists and the classical humanist golden thread of progress of civilization, you will soon apprehend why the construction of a Pan-European/Eurasian Maglev Land-Bridge has been systematically sabotaged.

  • Nerds.

  • This is the breakthrough: Maglev is no more a curiosity or tourist gimmick, limited to short hauls to & from downtown to airport, but is now the nominal, high-speed, intercity, long-distance ground transport system which will be increasingly adopted around the world.

All it needed was for two cities & their provincial & national government to be the first to step up to the plate; it's the challenge that no self-respecting nation can henceforth ever ignore.

As intended: the wave of the future.

  • only China has this Transrapid Maglev

  • The only problem with the Transrapid is that the world is not ready for it yet... I guess in the future it could be the only technology getting people from one place to another... it would be great... imagine no cars and busses slow trains or trams only transrapid... people could invent a slower one for short distances

  • The german state is not poor but its the same as in many other countrys too. Goverment spends Billions for crap an discontinues the brilliant projects.

Forget about this stupid 15 years old japanese boy xXd6y8j4Xx.

A transrapid can be very profitable.

This train needs less energie at high speed than any other train in the world. Tthe building cost are high, like for any other new technology but there is no abrasion of the track or the train. so you save money!
