I have always said that the original mantras simply chanted like this are much better than the new-age ones. Simple chanting with the sitar or another stringed instrument is the best

There is an other Pratassuktam. This is actually the Bhagya-suktam. Rigveda 7-41 or Taittariya Brahmanam 2-8-9.

At the end a part of the Rudra-suktam can be heard. From "ma no mahantam" untill the end. This is from the Yajurveda, but can also be find in the Rigveda. 1.114.07

This is the Pratassuktam. Pratah = morning. This is the 41th suktam of the 7th mandalam from the Rgveda. The main deity in this suktam is Bhaga. The first mantra has several deities and the deity of the 7th mantram is Ushas. The rishis (seer) of this suktam are Vasishtha and Maitravaruni.

I am just mentioning the first part of the wonderful Vedic chanting. The style is South-Indian. All the svaras are correct.

This suktam must be recited or heared in the early morning.
