It's a COMMERCIAL, not a scientific test, so you have to take it with a grain of salt. The Ford people were very careful with my car, which I appreciated. Which is the better truck? Well according to kbb specs the 09 Ford F250 SuperCrew XLT 8 ft bed weighs in at 9600 lbs the payload they show is 2940 while the single cab is 9000 @ 2890 payload. Silverado LT Regular is 9200 @ 3644 and the SuperCrew LT weighs in at the same of 9200 but decreased payload to 3059. WTF? Thats odd lol

5.4l is NOT a very good engine I have tons of sources, too many to list.

That's my Charger on the trailer and I watched them shoot this commercial (wearing a DODGE baseball cap the whole time!) It's a COMMERCIAL, not a scientific test, so you have to take it with a grain of salt. The Ford people were very careful with my car, which I appreciated. Which is the better truck? Drive both and decide for yourself.

An independant group actually did this test after Ford ran the commercial. They put the same weight on the trailers, trading drivers, etc. They did 100 runs down the strip. They Dodge won all 100 passes.

Well according to kbb specs the 09 Ford F250 SuperCrew XLT 8 ft bed weighs in at 9600 lbs the payload they show is 2940 while the single cab is 9000 @ 2890 payload. Silverado LT Regular is 9200 @ 3644 and the SuperCrew LT weighs in at the same of 9200 but decreased payload to 3059. WTF? Thats odd lol

As I "showed" you as proof the F150 can out tow any of the trucks. Maybe not the fastest to the finish line, but it can still out tow them. You can't just sit there and deny that Dodge has had problems. Every vehicle has problems. Dodge transmission problems have been an issue for a long time.

And before you jump down my throat - I also own a 1500 Ram that I love, but when I have to pull something heavy - I walk past the Dodge and get in the "big truck". 2500 vs 250 - Cummings vs Power Stroke. Flat ground w/ same load is a close call - hit the hills and the Ford walks away easily.

The 5.4l 3v(gas) however makes 365tq @ 3500
Compared to the dodge again, the 5.7l V8 at 3500rpm has 400tq
The Hemi has more power and better fuel efficiency.

If Dodge trucks are soo great, when was the last time they were "Truck of the year?" A fully loaded one cost over $50 grand while you can get a Ford SuperCrew 4x4 5.4 for 5k less, put 5k in mods and your out doing the Dodge in performance and towing capabilties
Room For Improvement: Limited variations could hurt; non-Hemi engines are dogs, limited payload and towing will hurt overall sales; maybe the wrong time for a great personal-use pickup; steering still needs more weight and tuning.

Then normally Dodge offers incentives that take the price down well below the F150. Neither companies are offering incentives right now.
So your TOTY argument is smashed aswell as your price point, payload/towing points and steering.
