  • It is disturbing that the USA has effectively outsourced so many crucial industries that it can't actually maintain it's military if supply is cut. it is like the USA has no game plan for a situation of total war (i.e. a war where everything is up for grabs, people play dirty, and the US homeland is threatened) other than the use of nuclear weapons, that are ageing in their silos. Even this element of US hegemony is eroding as we speak.

  • many people know how it feels to be in poverty .. not a 'few' like he says ! that is a strange phrase to use !

  • 09:09 Subtitles say "without the seriousness of ecosystems", but he actually says "services of ecosystems"

  • @CarstenIQ you did not answer my last question. Do i need to travel with this guy to believe in what he says??

  • @CarstenIQ there are many people who doesn't know about neoliberalism. If he says caplitalism, more people can understand him. He knows that, but he doesn't want to say it. I mentioned religion as example to tell you that bluffers make money saying good things to people. I tried to find more information about this guy, but i couldn't find it. Do i need to travel with him to believe in what he says?? if so, i am wasting my time with u.

  • @CarstenIQ there are a lot of guys, who says good things to people, they talk against the war, against polutation, against racism, etc but it doesn't mean that they are doing something to stop those facts. there are preachers who make a lot of money talking to people about Jesus Christ.

  • @CarstenIQ He never says that capitalism is the problem, Why?.

  • This guy is a bluffer.

  • we don't need an explanation from a guy who belong to the system. Capitalism is the cause of the world's problems. Capitalism is a predator.

  • @madmankitchen Civil War? That's stupid. Who against who?

  • The SIMPLE TRUTH is, we're being robbed by 33 families who own the world's resources and banks. They've orchestrated this for decades. The people of the world have been lied to by so-called 'experts in their field' of economics, even to students who study economics in universities. The 33 family foundations will NOT fund anyone who tells the truth. This "genius" is leaving out the biggest missing link - the economic, climate, environmental crisis, has been scientifically engineered by the 33.

  • i saw this on democracy now the other day. watched it twice. funny how it now takes a genius to point out the obvious.

  • Thanks for posting. I saw this interview & felt the same as others. Wud b great if he were to meet JF. Please advise if anything happened when u contacted Mr. Max-Neet.

Maybe more of us from TZM/TVP can also write to him

    Peace & solidarity - Mamma D

  • @lspmd2 I'm currently in contact with his assistant. His name is Patricio. Very sympathetic person. Mr. Max-Neef is currently traveling; and as Patricio mentioned, he rarely uses email during this time. I will keep in touch. I hope to raise sufficient curiosity so Mr. Max-Neef will visit Jacque in Venus Project Research Center. I'm sure both of them have a lot to talk about.

  • @emzmexico thanks f/t effort & update. PLEASE continue to update.

    In solidarity - Mamma D :)

  • Jacque Fresco and this guy need to meet...

    The Zeitgeist Movement

  • @theblackstarorder

I thought the same thing and so I initiated contact with Prof. Max-Neef to familiarize him about the Venus Project and Jacque Fresco. Just in case he is unaware. So let's see ;)

  • @emzmexico That's great! I'd be curious to see what he has to say.

  • @theblackstarorder

I will let you know. I'm sure he will agree with most of the Venus Project. It could be that he will have some trouble in understanding with the technical site since, I'm sure, he lacks knowledge in this area. But he is a very bright man and apparently very open minded. That what t takes to make sense out of things.

  • @emzmexico The Venus Project is a 'New Age' version of Agenda 21. The richest families of the world have planned to move populations into cities where they can be controlled, via food and energy. Of course this means the switch can pulled at their will. If you're a reallly good economist, you need to think "Why are the families, who own the worlds wealth, doing this?" Because they believe you are "useless eaters" and must be erradicated.

  • @theblackstarorder I don't think they would quite see eye to eye. The Venus Project is very libertarian, Max-Neef is not libertarian in any way. They would agree on a lot of things, but I think there would be quite a difference.

  • i watched 7 minutes of this and the only thing he said in that time which had any relevence to anything was when he was talking about the creativity of the poor, all that babbling on about how he's sat in the mud with poor people and lived with them really doesnt have any bearing on things like economic policy unless i just havent watched enough to get to his point, all i really see from what i've watched is dodging questions and posturing.

  • @ImEuanAndIGotsSkeelz

I really don't know what to respond to a person that watches something only 50% and thinks he knows all; and, thinks he is entitle to judge. I would say this person likes to take things out of content. Wouldn't you say so? I see myself already wasting my time since this person also lacks willingness to understand things.

  • @emzmexico i didnt say i think i know what he's talking about i said from what i saw he only said one thing that really had any point to it, while the rest sounded like smoke and mirrors posturing.

  • @ImEuanAndIGotsSkeelz

Ok...Euan; I think I now what you try to express. He is talking about perspective; especially the artificial one created by the monetary system and certain group behavior with there focus of interest. My recommendation is to watch the whole thing and if you still have problems to understand what he likes to express, watch it again. This what helps me a lot if I have difficulties with peoples way of thinking. The goal is to try to understand.

  • What brilliance! Support and donate to Democracy Now! This is one of the only places left you can still hear such an overload of truth.

  • @MadCoins Thank you for you positive comment.

There is one more which is quite good in bringing open news. You might find it curious. It's called RT America (Russia Today - America). It's like Democracy Now. It's a nonprofit news station. There have a channel here in Youtube.

I hope you find it useful.
