@foeunit Actually contrary to belief the Middle East has ALOT of oil left, it's not the oil that's running out, it's the refusal to export more of it that's the issue. The Saudis and the other nations have figured out they don't need to sell more because if they do the price would go down. It's supply vs demand and they know it's needed it but they're cutting exports because it's more profitable to sell less. At the end of the day it's their oil to sell so I don't see the issue.

So they're holding back because they need to find the balance that gets them the highest money PER BARREL. So the demand is of course high but the supply is less than optimal however that doesn't mean they're "running out" of oil. Now oil is going to stay a massive resource for a long time because there isn't a well established alternative. Mid-East has huge reserves.

OKAY NOW, THE WORLD ONLY HAS enough oil to last around another 40 years and thats the WORLDS OIL RESERVES. The Saudis aren't stupid, they've worked out their situation and adjusted it for maximum benefit to themselves.
