well goto your user library and look for com.codeweavers.crossovergames­.plist and set first run date to a future date but not too far otherwise your trial stops and expires i recommend doing around 100 - 200 years ahead!

you guys dont need to use crossover anymore steam is both for Mac and PC and those two can play with each other still in CS:S and Left 4 dead 2 and others just look for the apple & PC icons in steam store those games who have the icons are for Mac and PCs

Its great that steam has a platform for Mac but there are still MANY games you cannot play via Steam for Mac. Installing it this way should allow you to play windows based games via Steam on a Mac. This is the major selling point for doing this and the best benefit overall.

i downloaded steam and bought 2 games.

Garrys Mod and left 4 dead 2.

L4D2 worked and i play it ALOT.

but Garrys Mod, it just stop downloading.

it was on 58 % and now it only says Downloading starting...

it has been like this for 2 days.

Umm mine installs and everything, then it updates to the new steam, but once it gets to 100% it closes its self and if i try to open it again the icon shows up for about 5 seconds then disappears. Help pls.

Also, can you move items from your desktop, so that you cant see them there... I have that problem with MSN...

If the black bars are on the left and right its because your monitor is widescreen and the game isn't on a widescreen setting.
