I have one question about the car. The chassis was sent to Ghia in February 1953, but Aly Khan and Rita Hayworth get divorced in april '53, how could he offered the car to his ex-wife ? Rita Hayworth birthday was in the 18th of october.

This car's exterior,with the exception of the bumpers, looks like it would pass the modern safety requirements . Rounded fenders, front and rear ends. No pointed features like tailfins or hood ornaments and no protruding sideview mirrors. The door handles which protrude slightly have rounded ends. Even the rear louvering along the rear fender faces back not forward so in case anyone ever rubbed against it as it was passing would probably not get snagged. Just too cool and ahead of its time!
