Thank you for posting this! It's a truly crystal clear* and pure version of Jose's fine old classic.
[* OK...not completely crystal clear, perhaps, sure. Yes...there are a few of those lovely old "clicks and pops" we all were so used to when listening to vinyl. So I have to assume this is taken from vinyl, yes?]
@jelboysvw She is here with me listening to Light my fire on Youtube and my hands are wandering all over her body, I might add she is still looking good at 60.

Hi There, quite random but I have tried to find this version everywhere, exactly as this plays, there are so many version by Jose of this song, itunes, amazon and hard to find records do not have it, do you know where I can get this specific record?
@TheAllthree - I don't really know where you might find a copy. I believe my copy came from a thrift store like the Goodwill or Salvation Army. Good luck finding one!
@TheAllthree Sorry I can't help but I have to say "you know what your hearing here!" Out of all the available versions on the tube, this one recording rings truest in my memories from when Jose first released it. This was the most available recording of the times. The Doors” are Classic! But Jose took the song out of thier category with his version and put it in another soulful and romantic silhouette.
I remember going to the beach with my older brother who was home on leave before heading out to vietnam, it was him, his girlfriend, my cousin and her husband plus me and another brother whom were sittiing in the back of the 57 Chevy Nomad listening to this version of this song playing over and over again on the AM stations of the car radio. For some reason that memory of that day has always stuck with me, and I was only 6 years old.
@gabster626 you made me cry... I listened the song and read your story and I was there with you, although I'm younger than you and I've never been to USA... but I could imagine your feelings and everything you mentioned... thanks for sharing your memories!

I love pops and hisses. Takes me back to childhood listening to my folk's records in the living room. Thanks. Makes me smile. It's got me grooving.
