@skyblue2567 Quakers can live in the same house as most other birds I would NOT put them in the same cage unless they choose to do that themselves later. A Quaker will need his "space" and, unless he invites the lovebird, he will protect his space. Avoid problems and have two cages. Other than that they should be OK in the same house.
why is there a tag on his ankle, also quakers do quite a bit of talking (including some bad words) but the big mirror is a bad idea most birds will try to fly thru it (with out success) and died sooo,.... clip his wings or next room
nice bird. i went to the pet store yesterday and saw a blue quaker parrot but the thing was it was all blue including the head and stomach.the price was about 1299.99 are these the same or is that one a different mutation?
saw a one month old blue quaker parrot at the pet store today for AUD$750.00 and I thought that was expensive! but 1299?! They really are adorable. i was told they can live up to 35 years.
um the bird does not like either the camera or camera person lol........those are mostly aggressive sounds hes making lol......my quaker used to do that whenever my significant other walked into the room.
aww, i love these birds..gonna get one soon-ish. haha, love it how he growls at the mirror. of my 21 birds, none of my lot ever react to the mirror.odd
Thank you, he is turning into quite a character and has just started speaking. I will have to add a new video of him saying a few words! You have to watch him with jewellery though as he likes playing with it, we found one piece in the canary cage when we were cleaning it out!!
