It's because it is wheel slipping on the wet rail head, and the driver is also giving it to much power.....

Was there two drivers or was that the second man jumping out? If that was two drivers than that was my lordz of Tandem :P

The second man climbed out of the rear 37 and went "in between" the loco and HAA wagons to uncouple.
Dunno if they were playing to the camera or just in a serious rush...
