Part of the problem here was that the studio heads were over-watching the bottom line, not to mention the sexism that was so prevalent at the time. No woman was going to exercise any power... not over the "good old boys' network"! That's my take on it... Had they treated her, from the beginning, with some respect and attention, all of this baloney could have been avoided, the film would have been completed, and money would have been made. The short-sightedness of those in charge was just awful.

who knows what happened to her. it makes me so sad. she was so beautiful and talented and came from nothing... she worked her ass off to get to where she was b4 she passed away.

i watched somewhere on youtube the unfinished version of.somethings got to give..there seemed to be lots of stufff considering mm's time off..regardles she looks amazing and the acting is natural god bless her her x

I have this on ye olde worlde VHS and was so pleased to find it on YouTube... Thank you for posting this documentary, all Marilyn fans should take a gander as it reveals how magical she remained right to the end...
