I tried to watch this movie when it was first broadcasted, but I only got through about 10 minutes before changing the channel. The origional is and always will be, the best version. The animation is "too" smooth. Computers just take the magic away for some reason and I agree, the song is terrible.

I don't mean to start a flame war, but I worked on this show. It WAS stop motion. I was not personally keen on the music, and did not get the need for redesiging the characters either. An executive decision, I guess.

It was however, amazing getting to work on the same characters we watched as a kid

Ugh I watched this one. The original was better. The way they mve is better in this I'll admit, but the original's looked, and sounded better for talking and singing. Plus the bad guy bore a really shocking resemblance to the bad guy in Corpse Bride I think. I'm not saying it isn't good for kids, but the other one is more enjoyable. The new voice for Snow Miser bugged me throughout while I enjoyed the old one's voice. Still the old one had it's flaws too I'll admit.

Why not start the show off with Heat Miser in prison and Snow Miser trying to decide if he wants to help him escape?

As the show progresses, we find out Heat Miser burned six people alive, but Snow Miser finds it in his heart to love his stepbrother unconditionally. He freezes several prison guards in a dramatic prison break.

(Special appearance by the Burgermeister as the judge who sentences Heat Miser to six consecutive life terms.)
