@heyhailie The video was done in Studland Bay, in Dorset, South West England. One of the band member's mother had a funeral on the day of the shooting so only Martin was filmed, and quite fittingly, the weather had harsh winds and rain. The night to day was achieved through telecine; an operator manually adjusted lighting to make the colour change in the sky. Look up the song, and you'll find a site that will tell you how they did it, in layman's terms.
