@DragoNYC notice the crystal used? Well, the color of the energy crystal reflects the color of the blade. The Jedi get their crystals from natural sources, such as the temple on Ilum, which typically come in blue and green.

The Sith on the other hand, usually forge their crystals artificially, hence their singular red color.

I always thought Jedi used their hands to build a lightsaber. Notice, the convenient test dummmy arrives the instant the lightsaber is finished. Okay we build our own light saber, use the force, save the galaxy, blah blah blah. I want to know how extensively we can customize our light sabers. Changing crystal colors obvious but can we engrave our hilts, decorate them with bone, rocks, precious stones, gems, anything like that?
