Im about to purchase a car like this, with ALOT of restoration needed. The engine runs and MOST of the body is in good shape (rust here and there because it came from up north) I know I need to replace the breaks and many other parts. Does anyone know a good place to buy parts so I can restore the old beauty to the beast? Please message me if you do.
this is TRULY one CHILDHOOD CLASSIC of mine that I would cherish - gone are those days of smoke-belching Mercedes diesel taxis especially the W110, W109 and even W123 diesel models in Malaysia (however in some small towns, VERY FEW still survive)
I am a young architect from Milan, who loves classic cars and especially the Mercedes history. I'm in love now has a 190C-Heckflosse fintail of the early '60s. I am now to crown my dream. Now one of the requests that come to me is to find the stamped frame of the vehicle, if anyone knows where I can find it? Thank you, good evening.
I just saw one of those cars in the junk yard not too long ago. The body seemed to be in pretty decent shape for a car so old. It was sort of sad to see a nice car like that being left to die after surviving for so long.
In Germany those Mercedes called " Farmer Benz, or Farmer Diesel " most of Mercedes Diesel were driven by Farmers, they used their cars often 20-25 jears :-)
Very nice old Merc; 190d diesel automatic is rare! I noticed the mixture is very rich though--plenty of black smoke! I really like the heckflosse shaped Mercs, and this one looks in great condition!
First of all this car is called a "Flosse" in german and second of all I have a 180d from 1958, which in my opinion is much nicer. And third of all my merc has 550 000km - so much to the durability of these cars.
I almost forgot: I was in Lissabon 20 years ago and I drove with a taxi 180d- the same as mine- and it had 2million kilometers. Incredible even for a car of today!!
If you consider buying a 180d - well it uses 7l /100km, has 43hp and has room for 6 people.

If you have a problem, then go fuck yourself! His engine sucks - and I can see why - he makes it go high rpm in cold state. And if I would have wanted to gloat, idiot, then I would have told you about my other oldtimers: -180d (1958) -THREE 170V (1937&8) -TWO Tatra t2 603 -250se 1969 -450se 1975 -Three 300se 1985-1990 -Opel Rekord C 1972 -Skoda 120 -Trabant 1980 Now, that was gloating - and I gloated right into your face, asshole! Have you got an oldtimer?I bet not!
honussa, you truly are a fucking asshole. stupid arrogant motherfucker....the more arrogant you become, the more we realize that you don't know what you're talking about. just because you have a collection of old junkers doesn't mean that you know anything at all. fucking retard.
I don't know nothing at all? Old junkers?? I don't know nothing what I'm talking about???
By the way: if you call my cars old "junkers", then, my friend it is YOU that has NO idea about the true value of Oldtimers. Go fuck yourself with your Mitsubishi, Honda or Toyota.
And please do start your Diesel car with 6000rpm, that's good for YOUR engine!
And if you have a Gasoline engine, then start it with 8000rpm!
Your arrogant and condescending attitude on this thread is why I commented. You are a real jerk - you think just because you own old cars then you can go around and tell others they are idiots. In reality, you are an idiot. I know a thing or two about old cars, and I'm not arrogant like you. I own 4 old cars....2 Volvo 740 diesels, 1 Volvo 240 diesel, and 1 Volvo Amazon (vintage 1963). So go screw yourself, you arrogant moronic retard.
That sound really makes me long back to my old W110 200D!
I bought a 230S some time ago to get that feeling back, but it's not like my good old diesel...(although that car was worn bad but always brought me home.. if it started in teh cold that is ;-)
Very nice car! Is it an automatic? Don't take offense, I love these fintails and have several of them, but the 190D must be one of the slowest cars from that time :)

sound very nice and the car is in great nick too.

This must be a late model 190D, because the turn indicators have moved from the top of the fender to the front below the headlights.

I really didn't think the point of this video was to gloat. How big is your penis? You seem to have some issues.

Wow! I'm surprized you don't have videos of those. I live in town on a city sized lot without a garage - so I only have two cars.

A person that makes an engine of any car go high rpm when it is cold is an idiot. Me having oldtimers or not doesnt have to do anything with this.
honussa 2 years ago
@honussa
was it cold?
how do u know it was cold ? he may have already driven it that day.+ they r so understressed and low rpm governed that u could probably do it all day.
