My GTI MK.V E30 - 230 loves thrashing OPC's.. The VW with 230 bhp (stage 1 revo now @ 255 bhp) is faster in the straight line,but it's on the real roads that the VW shows whose the Daddy between these 2 superb cars

GTI stock compared with VXR/OPC stock= OPC made it.

That's what is important. Not any wet dreams of some "pro" on YT or what he thinks what anything is going to smoke. In Germany, we say "Kindergarten" to such a "discussion".

Astra Vxr all the way i have a nurburgring edition with 296bhp and 350 ft of trq and its quicker then my mates mk5 edition 30 gti golf with i think 300 bhp and 290 ft of trq

Read carefully. 6 GTI +BST or APR tune (250 HP+) stage I will smoke OPC.

APR stage III - OPC no chance even with chip!

@da4kgr3y u also got a stage 1,2,3 for an opc so don't compare a stock opc with a tuned gti dude...

every tuner got for every car the standard stage 1,2,3 upgrade and much more if u are willing to pay big money...

so what u say doesn't make sence at all. compare a stock with stock, stage 1 with stage 1 and so on. opc stage 3 is 330 hp and 450 Nm torque.

I've a astra OPC with 280 HP and i know a guy who have a R32...i'm allways before him, like new S3, Focus ST or 3 MPS. But versus this GTI I would never test.

btw, R32 is 4wd and 250 hp.

GTI is fwd and only 200hp + DSG (its really good)
