damn i didnt know there were so many people who still liked this game. there is enough people to have my tournament going. any of you live in houston or near by?? i am planning on having a tourney at my house with a big trophy for the winner and $50 walmart card (maybe even $100 gift card instead)

Washington so were pretty far apart... Man I would love to play a tourney in this game though... would be hella fun... I say everyone chip in 10 bucks winner get's the gift card and runner up get's a little something also... 100 gift card for the winner 50 gift card for the runner up... the best baseball game ever. never seen a better one yet. i believe the strongest teams are canada, texas, california and taipei. i use california all the time. best baseball game ever. if u want to play it for free you can google console clasix and download it free and play hundred of NES games free. dont worry no virus issues or malware at all i been using it for two years already

Cool video..THis game was my all-time favorite for nes..I would say the # 2 catch is better than # 1 tho.

@funkyflights .. it absolutely is! I would say the gameplay of this one is better than the one I have for the WII. The modern one's presentation is better with good realism to Lamade and Volunteer Stadium and then the uniforms are up to date with MW, NW, MA etc. etc. But played this one alot when I was younger and remember it being pretty challenging to lead some of the teams all the way thru.

Thanks for your input.... I picked up the game about a month ago and it's really fun... AND yes very challenging to win the little league world series... I like using Canada and I haven't won it all straight up yet because the CPU get's VERY hard near end... LOVE the game!! Very simple yet fun game-play...

@funkyflights this game is bad ass bro. im 34 and i still play it, not on NES though but i have it downloaded to my pc with console clasix. if u dont want to go through the trouble just download it and play it on ure pc free. this is considered one of the best baseball games ever man play it its worth it

Hey thanks for the advice... I picked up the game about a month or so ago and your right it's a great great baseball game... It's basically the baseball stars game wrapped up in a little league format ... I think it actually has better game-play overall than baseball stars.. I"M very happy I picked up this classic... I just finally won the little league world series with Canada and it was tough! CPU really steps it up near the end.... really fun game... Thanks...

@funkyflights canada is the best team in the LL game.if it was hard to win the league with canada imagine winning it with another team and yes near the end it gets hard. i usually play california and i have one the league about 6 times. it would have been more but i had to play the finals with tough teams like texas or even canada itself whose has great batters even the skill1 batters are pretty good in canada. in the next few months i am planning on starting a LLB tourney with a nice trophy

Canada is good... I like that Albert who's only rated 3 as a hitter but he comes through in big moments... There are a couple other teams with big bats as well... Hawaii has some serious bats..... Texas is good also... Are you thinking about doing tourney play online ? Can you play this game online on the PC or are you just doing a local tourney ?

@funkyflights fkn albert lol!! each time i play canada using my team california albert gives me da shit. alot of times if there are no people on base i make his ass walk. california is decent but its star player sid who is a skill 5 and lloyd who is a guy from the bench and is a skill 5 too are both potential batters. i wish there was a way to play online but so far i havent found a site to do so. my tourney will be local only and i will have to find an old NES sistem to have the tourney going

Yeah man for Canada ... Peter, Albert, Fred are dam good hitters... Albert is the best out of them all though as far as clutch rating and he's only a 3 hitter... LOL YEAH RIGHT..... dude he comes through allot.... on the bench you have Floyd at 5 ...Andrew and Mickey.... both 4 ... SO yeah Canada can hit.... Good idea thinking about a tourney... being a 6 inning game you can roll through it.. Man I just love the game-play of this game... Total classic!

Any idea on how to get it without the annoying engine sound of the F-Zero car? I think I downloaded it from a site a long time ago, but when I paired it up to the video with the existing track, it didn't match. Pisses me off.

this was my FAVORITE game when i was younger. I used to beat my dad all the time at this and he used to think i knew cheat codes or something! haha.

what a great game...tossing the bat up to see who has home field advantage, creative! love it!

I think i liked to be Hawaii and Tawain or Tapaeii, and NY.

Hawaii: Fat powerhitters, normal D, bad runners

Tapai: Excellent pitching, decent hitting, reg everything else

NY: Statistically the best team in the game

of course my favorite was Texas. Above average in every category. Perfect balance. Not dominant in any one spot, not lacking in any either. Something to shoot for. Consistently good.

Man I cannot wait to review this game. That should be my first sports game review after making that Coco catch attempt.

And the charity options would be overwhelming. How many little league charities are there? I gotta find something to donate money to that's committed to creating fair competition in little league, instead of the way my childhood leagues went where they put all the best players on one team and then shoved everybody else into the melting pot of ability level. Hated that. First charity I find that combats that problem, THAT'S THE FUCKIN' ONE!!! God I cannot wait.
