  • I knew that already, the difference between the two songs. But if I hadn't known it, it would not matter one-half a fecking bit. It's trivia. Like knowing Babe Ruth pitched for the Boston Red Sox before he came to the Yankees. Trivia is never anything more than trivia, which is to say, it is meaningless.

  • teenage wasteland and baba o riley are the same song...not even baba o riley is the REAL name for the song

  • teenage waste land isnt a who song dumb ass its baba o riley

  • @xXxphakiexXx

    Ahem.

Click on the link in the description. Read (or at least skim) through the description. Read about Lifehouse. Listen to Baba O'Riley as you know it and then compare. Or just look at the title.

    This is NOT Baba O'Riley.

  • @xXxphakiexXx um it kinda is so your half wrong and half right teenage wasteland is a song by lifehouse which the who took and remade and renamed to teenage wasteland/baba o riley so your right but your wrong

  • Pete!!! You fucking musical genius, you!!!

  • Talk about a song that evolved! Both are great if you ask me.

  • I still like Baba O'reilly better, but this is decent, not Townshend's best work, like much of Lifehouse...

  • Interesting.....VERY interesting.

    I like it.

  • this song is the first track to the FINISHED rock opera life house,if you get the correct songs in the correct order from whos next all the way to face dances you get the rick opera life house, look it up

  • Yeah...Townshend released Lifehouse Chronicles in 2000 as well. You probably didn't read the whole description. I go on in it later to say that Townshend DID eventually finish Lifehouse on his own, and that it was never recorded AS A WHOLE by The Who. Thanks for correcting an already correct statement.

  • so your saying songs like 905 and However much i booze are in lifehouse, what you said doesnt make any sense

  • ..... I never said those were in it. Let's make this REALLY simple. Some songs that were originally supposed to be in Lifehouse "guest starred" in later albums. The Who never recorded Teenage Wasteland, and it only appears in Townshend's solo work. By saying "never recorded AS A WHOLE by The Who" does not mean that all songs from Lifehouse were recorded by The Who and appear in later albums, but means The Who did record SOME Lifehouse songs which do appear in later Who albums. Clear?

  • well sorry, the guy beginer of the converstion said that you get the rock opera by getting the songs from Whos Next-Faces Dances which made no sense to me, plz try to clarfy

  • @dogma264

The original songs from lifehouse were incorporated into later albums by The Who because they never finished Lifehouse

  • How dare they dis the work of Pete Townshend!

  • I have a multi-million selling cat...... is that good enough?

  • Wait! Can you hear that?

    "you're wrong, you're wrong, you're wrong..."

It's the whispering winds of shit!

  • dude if you do any better please post it but if you can t do any better dont talk shit because i bet your just a bitchy 14 year old punk that cant apprectiate something amazing even if it was right in your face you spoiled brat

  • hehe.... WOW

  • Actually he's 15! He doesn't MIND this type of music. He just likes to try to piss me off. For example, he really like Rush...good band.

Don't worry about it. I know the guy personally. He's joking. Trust me.
