Ear Candling

Oh dear jamtar, I'd get a refund if I were you. Ear candling does not work, as it does not generate enough suction to remove the wax. That is a quantifiable and scientific fact. If you don't believe me, take a look in the ear before and after, preferably with an otoscope. Candling is dangerous and should be banned.

just like said before, all the stuff that you see when finished is from the candle it self,burn one and see without putting in an ear,also if it did create a vortex strong enough to remove wax ,it would rupture the ear drum then you would feel pain.

This is a dangerous scam! Don't let some snake oil salesman do this to you. Always let a physician or audiologist manage earwax. This practice is useless at best, disastrous at worst. The wax is from inside the candle, just so you know.

Iam a qualified therapist, ive just completed a training course in hopi ear candling. When performing this treatment we hold the candle with both hands and dont ever leave the client. People performing this treatment on themselves is very dangerous and the candle can easily fall.

my nurse practioner told me to do this and I had and accident and burned myself badly.

Do not do this . Let an experience person do it for you.

Candling is dangerous at worst but completely ineffective at best. It really has no use on ear wax, the build up that does occur is the wax from the candle itself.
