He's a great mix of a showman and a smooth preacher. Watch carefully some of his videos (Age is only a number, which is certainly not true), the speech is lip-synched, or dubbed. Still he is a genuine fitness buff, and does keep in great shape. He seems to be able to talk on any medical stuff, memorizing the summaries prepared by his research assistant. He is no medical doctor, and his PhD was obtained by correspondance (on coffee!). He wants to make you feel good, and he succeeds. ROO BOOKAROO

I watched this fellow on PBS where he stated he grew up in the Ohio Valley and he mentioned an island there where he says the famous duel between Burr and Hamilton took place. H said he used to look down onto that island from a farm overlooking it. Unfortunately for him the duel took place in Weehawkin NJ. I used to listen to Gary's show on WBAI EVERY day. I even went to a seminar of his as well. I am talking from my own personal experience about this guy.

He is a self promoting media whore. And a VERY rich one at that. Ask why was he thrown off the air? why was there a huge protest in NYC at the station??

The largest protest in the history of WBAI to was to get Gary back on the air. Gary was thrown off the air, because he wouldn't play ball with a corrupt station management, that has practically driven the station into the ground financially--unsurprisingly, as they did things like remove Gary Null, a very popular show, that brought in about 40% of the stations donations.

yes, ive been follwing his diet for 6 years now, before i was eating mostly fast foods and thought i didnt have the time to do the diet but after only 2 weeks of trying the diet with hard work the first two weeks were the most difficult, then after it just beccame very easy for some reason it was like something i cant explain..

Following Gary's diet isn't the hard part. The hard part is buying and cooking food according to his guidelines. NO wheat, no animal products, all organic, low sodium, low sugar. It's hard shopping for foods that meet these standards. You have to watch what type of pots and pans you use, and what oils you can and can't cook with. It is also hard if you aren't a good cook. This diet is too difficult for someone who doesn't need to lose weight.

It's hard only when you aren't ready to take off and explore the beautiful world outside and leave behind what you have been influenced by the society all this while.

But I have to admit that it's not going to be easy for someone who simply don't care about 'health'.

trader joes...you'll find all of what his diet requires and because they don't use a middle man ike most super market chains, everything is very affordable......as far as cooking the food, I'm sure it just takes practice and a little creativity.
