Actually, this is from an old show, he just put the video *on* iMovie. You can't do this kind of stuff from scratch on that program, it's just a video editor.

The symmetry makes the symbol look like a cross between the original peacock and the 1979-86 version...and the last couple seconds of animation bring to mind the CBC butterfly for good measure!
