For those who commented on here previously, and who LIKE what Bob does : My sisters and I are making a push for Local 12 Cincinnati to give Bob Herzog his OWN talk/variety show. It would certainly make a pleasant change from 99% of the programming foisted on us by the national affiliates. @Bentom86 dance party friday occupies 2-3 minutes of a morning broadcast at 5:45am during the time they would normally do the traffic report if by chance there was no traffic to report. It is merely an entertaining portion of an otherwise completely informative news broadcast

All I'm saying is that if this is what news shows are about now, then call it something else and not 'news'. At least with "Ch. 12's Wacky Disco Friday Party at 5" or whatever, at least you know what you're getting. It just shouldn't be called "Local 12 News"..sorry! By all means, please don't let the traffic report stand in the way of self-serving garbage! This video is actually a funeral for local TV news. Why don't they just call it what it is: a cheap-to-produce, live variety show starring wannabe actors & bad comedians with pretty faces and not much else. No need to take it personally. My only point was to get rid of the word "news" in the title & and call it something else. If these people don't care about their own credibility as "reporters", then why should anyone else? And if enjoy dishing out insults, see if you can do it without hiding behind a computer? Back to my life...why don't you get one too.

These people can break out the party favors and limbo stick for all I care. My only point is it doesn't belong on a show called "News 12 at 6" or whatever it is. If they want to do this corny, self-indulgent Morning Zoo sort of TV, then just give the show a different title..."The Cincinnati Morning Hoedown" or something like that.
