Global warming is a direct result of the sun's solar cycle. However, it is a good thing in this way; We are now speeding up development of clean energies. CO2 is one thing, but actual "polution" is another. And through the "man made" global warming false hood, we are seeing a "push" for clean energy like we have never seen. So this is a good thing either way.
Global warming is a huge SCAM, Mr Dixon. The science behind it comes from a very few researchers; politicians and green media pumping out fearmongering at the same time as investments in green technology on the back end. These same politicians state they want to save the planet by taxing carbon emissions, while turning a blind end to deforestation to create biofuel. Last I checked, we can't stop c02 buildup by destroying carbon sinks.
@silverhawks Green tech will develop fast despite climate change uncertainties. I go with the overwhelming consensus that 1) global warming from man-made emissions is unproven but 2) evidence huge that it is likely to be happening (how high can CO2 go before impact? Double, treble, quadruple what it was 100 years ago??); 3) By the time we are certain about speed and impact we will not be able to take steps to control 4) For these reasons action now is an insurance policy.
what does one do if they have a brilliant idea for getting more out of wind energy ( without getting ripped of). I have a number of ideas but I am not sure who to talk. I one told a lecture when I was in college an idea I had. The idea was to use sensors in front of road vehicles to stop them colliding with any thing that was to close for comfort. I was told my idea was no good. 30 years on I hear there using sensors on some cars and trains.
I agree man. GJ When I was a kid (a long time ago) lol, they were making solar driven cars already. What has been the reason why we do not drive them now? They had solar powered cars that went 70 MPH in the early 80's. WTF is the hold up?
So, for consideration's sake, let's just skip the global warming aspect of fossil fuel use. pretend it isn't an issue. Now, let's discuss the quality of life for various creatures with regard to the difficulties that arise from the pollution in the air from processing and using such fuels.
This is almost never given a hard look, and seems that the answer to the public is to sell more pharmaceuticals to treat the symptoms, asthma, COPD, rather than dealing with the cause, which is contaminants.
We need nuclear power. It is the only viable high-flux denisty power source that will be able to sustain our 6.7 billion people efficiently. All other sources of power will become murder in our near future. Solar energy is insane, wind energy does not create enough heat for our ends. Unless our leaders plan to depopulate and are sane, they will begin planning massive nuclear reactor infrastructure.
I don't believe in globle warming but globle changing.

You have to be wealthy to manifest your ideas at the level you want. It sucks but that's the way it is. :(

there are so many clean gren energies
we should all take part to help this process, dont be lazy and go green even if it costs more,,
money or a healty world where we leave less trace of pollution. if we all pay more now, it will become cheaper when they recover development costs

id say its the price. i mean solor panels cost a rediculous amount of money

what about poo power? :p

@tremulent
If the whole planet used nuclear power, the uranium supply would be depleted within 11 years!

solar power is follows Moore's Law and is far from insane.
