The Holy Spirit speaks to our youth through songs like this. What an excellent strategy! To use real life situations and simple language to reach into the hearts of those that are struggling to become better Christians, or to those who still haven't accepted God as their Saviour! Hat's off to you guys. I hope you continue to use your talents for our Lord. That's why He gave them to you in the first place!!! Excellent!!!

@123thatswhatsup Clearly we're not born saved. But as the bible says, to be saved means to completely transform. That means what you listen to, your lifestyle, everything. Jesus didn't come to make us liberals. Think what scripture says before you speak. Prove me wrong through scripture instead of opinion.
@JCojocaru Marcus Gray attended Boyce Bible College and is now attending Southern Seminary. You can hardly be anywhere near "liberal" in your theology attending and getting your ministerial training at these institutions. The doctrinal statement of his church, Immanuel Baptist in Louisville, is certainly not liberal. There is also nothing in this music promoting a "liberal" lifestyle - quite the opposite - very hard hitting against moral relativism, materialism, and promiscuous conduct.
@JCojocaru regeneration does not take place until we see jesus, no man has the ability to turn away from sin without gods help. they aint any good people in this world, thats why we shouldnt judge anyone. but im with you on the music clothes and anything that aint scritural.
@TheJesusbeliever1 Well we are not to judge the world because there is no point in judging the world as they do not believe, and that is for God to judge. but we are to judge Christians, if our purpose is to show them they're sinning (long as we are not guilty of that same sin). We as Christians, being imperfect, sometimes need judgment to be able to admit and recognize that something is wrong and needs to be changed for the Glory of God.
@JCojocaru jesus said not to judge EVEN ur enemy, thats not to say we shouldnt use the word to guide us, but it shouldnt a judgement but help n guidance. if someone calls u a name, then u say whats wrote about cursing in the bible. that way u r taken out of the picture. after all we are to stand the word like a rock. love n GRACE BE WITH U
@TheJesusbeliever1 You should seriously do a biblical search on "judging". We are supposed to judge fellow Christians. Especially they be lukewarm and give the rest a bad name. If they falsely preach the gospel, we must judge them either out of hope they'll turn from those teachings etc. I can give plenty of verses proving we must judge. But if you desire the truth, you must do your own search.
@JCojocaru I am not sure where you get the idea Christians can judge one another but it is not correct. Judging is forbidden regardless of your belief system. I think you need to do some more studying. The Bible does not support your statement.
@trywillard Are you sure about that? "Judge not by mere appearance, but judge righteous judgment."
Judge righteous judgment. I guess you don't know what that means. If you want, I can give you more. Before telling me to study more, maybe you should actually try to read a bit.
@JCojocaru John 7:24 does not give license for Christians to judge on another. That verse was Jesus telling them not to be hypocritical. The people thought it was okay to circumcise on the sabbath but not okay to heal.
@trywillard So Jesus would command one person to JUDGE RIGHTEOUS JUDGMENT but nobody else is allowed to? That would make him a hypocrite. God STICKS TO HIS WORD regardless of who you are. He doesn't care who you are, nobody is more special to him than the next guy.
1 Corinthians 2:15 But he that is spiritual judgeth all things, yet he himself is judged of no man.
Like I said I can give you more, MUCH more. What did you give me? Literally nothing other than your own opinionated interpretation.
@JCojocaru Isaiah 64:6 says our righteousness is as filthy rags. So when you start to thing you are so spiritual that you are above reproach then you are out of line. Romans 14 says Why do you judge your brother or sister? Or why do you treat them with contempt? For we will all stand before God’s judgment seat. It is written: As surely as I live, says the Lord, every knee will bow before me; every tongue will acknowledge God.’ Each of us will give an account of ourselves to God
@trywillard You clearly do not know what the purpose of judging is then. I guess you enjoy allowing a brother/sister to continue in their sin. And your verse proved nothing. So if you're a Christian who lives according to God's word, are you not spiritual? If you then are spiritual, you MUST JUDGE.
Would you rather not be judged now, rather then wait until it is too late, and be judged by God? Is God going to sin by judging us? Jesus judged. The apostles judged. You just do not like judgment.
@JCojocaru There is a huge difference between Judging and correcting. If you sit there and say wow that dude is so lost bro how can he even do that!? that's completely different than correcting their error with love and patience. Whatever the case this music has changed thousands of hearts for Christ including mine, Glory to God
@trywillard By the way, just a little thing for you to think about: When you say judging is wrong and sinful, you're passing judgment on people who do judge, therefore you're judging. There is enormous hypocrisy in your belief. Fact is, you just hate judgment and want to live your way. You don't want people to tell you if you're doing something wrong because you enjoy the ways of your life. A person with nothing to hide is not afraid to be judged, but embraces judgment instead.
@JCojocaru First of all, don't make generalizations about me because you don't know me. I am a God fearing and Bible preaching minister. I am not afraid of the judgement passed down by God or man. Men like you make judgements without the facts and that is what I am telling you to avoid. There is a difference between judgement and giving correction so make sure you don't cross that line.
@JCojocaru Also, I have noticed you have been in quite a few heated discussions. Perhaps you might want to re-evaluate your theology or your methods. If you have this many issues with others then there should come a time when you say to yourself that MAYBE you could be wrong. If you think you are the only one with all the answers then you have clearly missed the mark. Based upon your comments, I believe you have truly missed. I have said all I will say.
@trywillard In other words, the majority of Christians/the world know the truth and accept it, and I am one of the few who choose to be both wrong and strict? Since my biblical ideas don't conform to the world/the Christians of the world (as Bible clearly states, FEW are on the narrow path), I think I would choose not to follow the crowd. I will choose not to follow the way others do (I couldn't care less whether or not they agree with me, I just want them to know the truth). Very flawed logic..
@trywillard So do you want to be alike to the majority of Christians? Or do you want to be part of that FEW who are on the narrow path? I tell you what... There's nothing better than for people to hate me for my beliefs. To hate my beliefs and to disagree with them. You cannot prove me wrong using scripture, you have added absolutely no scripture to the conversation. Just because you're a preacher/minister does not make you more correct than others. It is the days of the false teachers BTW.
@JCojocaru You have ignored every scripture brought to you and you have chosen your own way. I respect your opinions but I don't agree with them. They are based upon poor theology and bias. You have made assumptions about me and you have insinuated I am a false teacher. You really should watch your approach. Even the word suggests we are to handle the word with care. If you are supposed to be winning souls to build the kingdom then you should learn how to do it. Proverbs 18:19
@trywillard I like how one moment you're completely against judging and the next you're full out judging me. You should really re-evaluate your beliefs.
How in the world is this satan music? Are you listening to what hes saying? Woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter. Isaih 5:20 smh smh smh smh
@stevenashfan2313 I highly recommend you youtube Ivor Myers, an ex-rapper turned Christian rapper turned against Rap. The way he explains it is mindopening and undeniable. Please do this for your own sake.
@stevenashfan2313 It's not opinion. It's the truth. Music in general is not the devils. BUT, the WAY in which you perform that music is what determines it to truly praise God or not. Take rape/rock for example. Both originated in the world and has GREAT influence on the world. Therefore it is worldly. You can't take something worldly and make it Christian because that's conforming to the world. That's saying you can take a tool of satan and use it to praise God. No you absolutely cannot.
@stevenashfan2313 It's not my personal opinion, but fact according to God's word. Rap did not originate in Christianity. It originated in the world. The Bible says " DO NOT CONFORM TO THE WORLD"... ENOUGH SAID. Do you want to praise God through Pagan practices? I would hope not. The only thing that's clouded is your ability to judge. You certainly are not using the ability of judgment to your advantage, so that through scripture you can discern between right/wrong, Godly/Ungodly.
@JCojocaru Jesus also says to go into ALL of the WORLD and preach his message. ENOUGH SAID. You use the internet which is of this world so what is the difference? If you are saying that we can't conform to this world then Christians would be few, poor, and centuries behind everyone else. The bible says not to judge so how can you say that rap is evil because God says that you are evil along with the rest of the world without Jesus so why should he save you but not evangelical rappers?
@MrDinomita I don't use the internet to spread the truth. I use it to defend it when people are wrong. BTW, as scripture itself states, Christians ARE VERY few and they're not rich either. In reality, no matter what state they're in, they're centuries AHEAD of everyone else. Heaven is MORE than centuries ahead of hell. Before you tell me the scripture on not judging, you should go read some more and find out that as Christians we are SUPPOSED to judge those who claim to be Christian. Read&Learn
@JCojocaru I didn't say the were rich and I was not talking about spiritually centuries ahead I was talking about physically. Where in the bible does it say we are supposed to judge those who claim to be Christian? If I know what verse you are talking about then it says we should show someone their fault in order for them to change. We cannot judge or we too will be judged. And that is backed up in Matthew 7 and Luke 6. All I am trying to say is that we are not the judges God is.
@JCojocaru And why can you use a worldly created thing like the internet to spread the truth but you say that Christians can't use rap to spread the truth?
@MrDinomita Because the internet isn't a "style". Rap is a STYLE. The internet adds NOTHING to my message. The Rap Melody and Rhythm completely changes the method. People will read my comments and not have something desirable to make my message more attractive. It is like reading off paper. The melody behind rap gives it a huge appeal. Many people just love a good beat. The internet has literally no influence on my message.
@JCojocaru The huge appeal that rap has, has made many hundreds of people think about God. There are many different ways to evangelize. In person, over the internet, through music that people listen to, and in front of a congregation... etc. It doesn't really matter if we are trying to further God's kingdom. And also I haven't found where God tells Christians to JUDGE other Christians anywhere in the bible. Could you show me it? IF it is there.
@MrDinomita Changes the message, not method. The internet can be used for good or it can be used for bad. Christian rap is a mixture of both good and bad. You can't have that. I highly recommend you youtube Ivor Myers Sonic warfare. He once was a all out worldly rapper, then he turned into a Christian rapper, then turned against CHristian rap as well. He will explain why it is wrong. Believe me, it is very eye opening. I use to listen to Christian rap myself but not anymore.
@JCojocaru the internet is also a mixture of both good and bad. Satan can use the internet just like anything on this earth. You can't single out something just because you can see Satan easier through some parts of it because Satan is the great deceiver and can make you think that the internet is not very bad or even bad at all.
people will not come to god if they feel judged thats not what jesus teaches us. its about love for our lord love and love for eachother if you dont like the music dont listen to it. n fyi i still listen to icp every once in a while so wat im not a child of god. ask my lord he knows my name.
if your a real christian you should be able to tell the differnce between a christan rap artist working for the devil or for god. just like i could see through all you so called christians that give the rest a bad name.
i read a few of your comments and the ones i read didnt sound christian to me. sounded like you where judging people. is that what god taught us. we can still listen to rap music . rap isnt the devils music.
@mistydboyce Rap is the devil's music. It originated in worldly nonChristians and some greedy people grasped the opportunity to make money so they took Rap and turned it to Christian rap. If it's not the Devil's music, it's God's music. It has to be one or the other. And it OBVIOUSLY is not God's. There is NO IN-BETWEEN!
i read a few of your comments and the ones i read didnt sound christian to me. sounded like you where judging people. is that what god taught us. we can still listen to rap music . rap isnt the devils music.
@mistydboyce There's nothing sinful in judging people, if they are within the Christian faith/Claim to be Christian. Those people we MUST judge. It is only those of the world who do not believe that we leave to God to judge.
@stevenashfan2313 Don't forget, Satan is a master musician. He's not scared to ruin you through "Christian" music. When you can't let go of "Christian" rap, then you can't transform from your previous life. You must have a full transformation, not partial, in order to be a child of God. When you keep it and just change part of it, you're still your old self.
@stevenashfan2313 The Bible says not to conform to the world. Rap was created by men of the world and until recently, always used in very dirty manners. If the pagans came up with an idea, would you transform it to something "Christian"? No, that would be disgusting. When you think about it however, Rap with it's dirty and disgusting unGodly lyrics is really pagan. It's anti-Christ. So why bring it to Christianity? That's conforming to the world. The Bible sure is silly isn't it....
@aubreidee I go around to speak truth everywhere. Someone sends me a link, I look at it, and speak the truth. Defending God is worth every second of my life.
@JCojocaru If what you mean by your comment is that the word of God cannot be brought across to the youth of today's world through rap or hip - hop, then you are sorely mistaken. The Lord is God of all times and has dominion over every gift or talent that we have here on earth. These men, Flame and the like, are using their God-given talents to profess the Word to those who do not yet have the light of Christ in their lives. Hip Hop itself has not been the problem; just the way its been abused.
@trutwolife Light has no fellowship with darkness. God has no fellowship with darkness. When something good is mixed with something bad, then it's just something bad. Rap is an origin of unGodliness. Do the research. If you want to conform yourself to the world as these rappers do, then you're lost no matter what message you're portraying. The world doesn't like true Christianity, unless it's combined to their lusts. Therefore still enjoying the lifestyle of their past.
@bigmidland Well personally I listen more to Romanian because I sort of just like it better and know a lot more good songs in Romanian, but I would say just look for the ones that aren't worldly. The artists who don't make money (nor look for money, but do it purely out of love). Songs that have 1. Biblical lyrics, 2. The instruments aren't played in such way that without the lyrics would sound like rap/rock/ anything of the world (at least don't make you want to bob your head or dance). and 3
@JCojocaru i watched almost all of the videos and see his point, but most of his words are strickly opinions and and pretty far streches of facts from the bible, but seems to me if a "beat" is deemed as evil or holy, would'nt it be wise to consider the words in the song and the meaning behind them before we try to enturperate a beat of a song?
@JCojocaru Also i would like to add that even if Ivor is correct in his words, and a certain beat is of the devil, and it's fact that artists like trip lee, lecrae, flame and many others can bring lost souls to the foot of the cross and recognize that Jesus Christ died for our sins and repent, than i would say that God is beating the devil at his own game. God is always in control.
@bigmidland As much as you may like the sound of that, you don't actually know if those souls are being won for God. What they're really doing is introducing them to a false Christianity. Why are there SO MANY lukewarms today? Because of the watered down forms of Christianity they were introduced into. If you really want I can provide text proving something false cannot lead the lost to God. ONLY CHRIST CAN DO SO! And Christ has nothing to do with things that aren't entirely Godly.
@bigmidland the artist seems to be modest and Godly. Satan knows the best way to deceive people is through watered down truth. I highly recommend you look up "Ivor Myers Sonic Warfare" and watch it. He is a guy who rapped for the world, turned to God, turned his rap into Christian rap. He then realized Christian rap is wrong and not Godly, and turned away from that as well. He is very outspoken on the topic and definitely opened my eyes. I started as a liberal Christian myself, but not anymore.
@JCojocaru Btw I don't care what you think about me, honestly! I hate when people diss work like this. Hip-hop was created by God to be used for his glory down the road.. God created all things. Have nothing to do with foolish, ignorant controversies; you know that they breed quarrels. And the Lord's servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, 2nd tim 2 23-24. In the world not of it, God bless
@dRill3d Did God also create dildos, guns, birth control, violent video games, porn, etc?
And no this isn't a foolish/ignorant controversy. God did not create rap, people of paganism did and now it's being used to "honor God" (or should I say, rake in money instead...).
foolishness is being conformed to the world and proclaiming to be a follower of the truth.
@JCojocaru brother think what you want i have results of my faith and I don't care what you think hate me, judge me if you must but look at yourself and focus on serving Christ selflessly by loving everyone. This world is nothing but while i'm here ima be the salt and the light for Christ, do things your way but know at the end were both gonna meet God and I have confidence that Christian rap and my faith will be shown as glorifying God forever. Did you even READ 2nd TIM 2 23-23??
@dRill3d How come you didn't answer the question? It was a serious question. If this music came from God, then so did the things I mentioned. Don't be a hypocrite and hide from the truth.
@JCojocaru then who created it? Who created this? These guys have been moved through the holy spirit. listen to Shai linne he has deep lyrics that only pertain to giving glory to God and spreading the gospel. Why have I come to Christ through this music?? You don't understand that this music has done so much for the Glory of God.
@dRill3d Who created it? Try doing a research "Origins of RAP". These worldly "Christians" didn't create rap. And the doctrine within it is wrong as it is. How do you knwo who truly has the Holy Spirit? What Christ have you come to? Because there are many false Christs among us, as the scripture itself says.
The Holy Spirit speaks to our youth through songs like this. What an excellent strategy! To use real life situations and simple language to reach into the hearts of those that are struggling to become better Christians, or to those who still haven't accepted God as their Saviour! @stevenashfan2313 I highly recommend you youtube Ivor Myers, an ex-rapper turned Christian rapper turned against Rap. The way he explains it is mindopening and undeniable. Please do this for your own sake.
JCojocaru 8 months ago
@stevenashfan2313 It's not opinion. It's the truth. Music in general is not the devils. BUT, the WAY in which you perform that music is what determines it to truly praise God or not. Take rape/rock for example. Both originated in the world and has GREAT influence on the world. Therefore it is worldly. You can't take something worldly and make it Christian because that's conforming to the world. That's saying you can take a tool of satan and use it to praise God. No you absolutely cannot.

great song! good message
856WildAnimal 8 months ago
@stevenashfan2313 It's not my personal opinion, but fact according to God's word. Rap did not originate in Christianity. It originated in the world. The Bible says " DO NOT CONFORM TO THE WORLD"... ENOUGH SAID. Do you want to praise God through Pagan practices? I would hope not. The only thing that's clouded is your ability to judge. You certainly are not using the ability of judgment to your advantage, so that through scripture you can discern between right/wrong, Godly/Ungodly.
JCojocaru 8 months ago
@JCojocaru Jesus also says to go into ALL of the WORLD and preach his message. ENOUGH SAID. You use the internet which is of this world so what is the difference? If you are saying that we can't conform to this world then Christians would be few, poor, and centuries behind everyone else. The bible says not to judge so how can you say that rap is evil because God says that you are evil along with the rest of the world without Jesus so why should he save you but not evangelical rappers?
MrDinomita 8 months ago in playlist Lecrae
@MrDinomita I don't use the internet to spread the truth. I use it to defend it when people are wrong. BTW, as scripture itself states, Christians ARE VERY few and they're not rich either. In reality, no matter what state they're in, they're centuries AHEAD of everyone else. Heaven is MORE than centuries ahead of hell. Before you tell me the scripture on not judging, you should go read some more and find out that as Christians we are SUPPOSED to judge those who claim to be Christian. Read&Learn
JCojocaru 8 months ago
@JCojocaru I didn't say the were rich and I was not talking about spiritually centuries ahead I was talking about physically. Where in the bible does it say we are supposed to judge those who claim to be Christian? If I know what verse you are talking about then it says we should show someone their fault in order for them to change. We cannot judge or we too will be judged. And that is backed up in Matthew 7 and Luke 6. All I am trying to say is that we are not the judges God is.
MrDinomita 8 months ago
@JCojocaru And why can you use a worldly created thing like the internet to spread the truth but you say that Christians can't use rap to spread the truth?
MrDinomita 8 months ago
@MrDinomita Because the internet isn't a "style". Rap is a STYLE. The internet adds NOTHING to my message. The Rap Melody and Rhythm completely changes the method. People will read my comments and not have something desirable to make my message more attractive. It is like reading off paper. The melody behind rap gives it a huge appeal. Many people just love a good beat. The internet has literally no influence on my message.
JCojocaru 8 months ago
@JCojocaru The huge appeal that rap has, has made many hundreds of people think about God. There are many different ways to evangelize. In person, over the internet, through music that people listen to, and in front of a congregation... etc. It doesn't really matter if we are trying to further God's kingdom. And also I haven't found where God tells Christians to JUDGE other Christians anywhere in the bible. Could you show me it? IF it is there.
MrDinomita 8 months ago
@MrDinomita Changes the message, not method. The internet can be used for good or it can be used for bad. Christian rap is a mixture of both good and bad. You can't have that. I highly recommend you youtube Ivor Myers Sonic warfare. He once was a all out worldly rapper, then he turned into a Christian rapper, then turned against CHristian rap as well. He will explain why it is wrong. Believe me, it is very eye opening. I use to listen to Christian rap myself but not anymore.
JCojocaru 8 months ago
@JCojocaru the internet is also a mixture of both good and bad. Satan can use the internet just like anything on this earth. You can't single out something just because you can see Satan easier through some parts of it because Satan is the great deceiver and can make you think that the internet is not very bad or even bad at all.
MrDinomita 8 months ago
people will not come to god if they feel judged thats not what jesus teaches us. its about love for our lord love and love for eachother if you dont like the music dont listen to it. n fyi i still listen to icp every once in a while so wat im not a child of god. ask my lord he knows my name.
mistydboyce 9 months ago
if your a real christian you should be able to tell the differnce between a christan rap artist working for the devil or for god. just like i could see through all you so called christians that give the rest a bad name.
mistydboyce 9 months ago
@mistydboyce There is no difference. They work for the devil whether they realize it or not. It is not Christian music it is conformed to the world.
JCojocaru 8 months ago
i read a few of your comments and the ones i read didnt sound christian to me. sounded like you where judging people. is that what god taught us. we can still listen to rap music . rap isnt the devils music.
mistydboyce 9 months ago
@mistydboyce Rap is the devil's music. It originated in worldly nonChristians and some greedy people grasped the opportunity to make money so they took Rap and turned it to Christian rap. If it's not the Devil's music, it's God's music. It has to be one or the other. And it OBVIOUSLY is not God's. There is NO IN-BETWEEN!
JCojocaru 8 months ago
i read a few of your comments and the ones i read didnt sound christian to me. sounded like you where judging people. is that what god taught us. we can still listen to rap music . rap isnt the devils music.
mistydboyce 9 months ago
@mistydboyce There's nothing sinful in judging people, if they are within the Christian faith/Claim to be Christian. Those people we MUST judge. It is only those of the world who do not believe that we leave to God to judge.
JCojocaru 8 months ago
@stevenashfan2313 Don't forget, Satan is a master musician. He's not scared to ruin you through "Christian" music. When you can't let go of "Christian" rap, then you can't transform from your previous life. You must have a full transformation, not partial, in order to be a child of God. When you keep it and just change part of it, you're still your old self.
JCojocaru 9 months ago

JCojocaru 1 year ago
@JCojocaru If what you mean by your comment is that the word of God cannot be brought across to the youth of today's world through rap or hip - hop, then you are sorely mistaken. The Lord is God of all times and has dominion over every gift or talent that we have here on earth. These men, Flame and the like, are using their God-given talents to profess the Word to those who do not yet have the light of Christ in their lives. Hip Hop itself has not been the problem; just the way its been abused.
trutwolife 1 year ago
@trutwolife Light has no fellowship with darkness. God has no fellowship with darkness. When something good is mixed with something bad, then it's just something bad. Rap is an origin of unGodliness. Do the research. If you want to conform yourself to the world as these rappers do, then you're lost no matter what message you're portraying. The world doesn't like true Christianity, unless it's combined to their lusts. Therefore still enjoying the lifestyle of their past.

@JCojocaru do you have any examples of songs that you would deem acceptable you would care to share?
bigmidland 11 months ago
@bigmidland Well personally I listen more to Romanian because I sort of just like it better and know a lot more good songs in Romanian, but I would say just look for the ones that aren't worldly. The artists who don't make money (nor look for money, but do it purely out of love). Songs that have 1. Biblical lyrics, 2. The instruments aren't played in such way that without the lyrics would sound like rap/rock/ anything of the world (at least don't make you want to bob your head or dance). and 3
JCojocaru 11 months ago
@JCojocaru i watched almost all of the videos and see his point, but most of his words are strickly opinions and and pretty far streches of facts from the bible, but seems to me if a "beat" is deemed as evil or holy, would'nt it be wise to consider the words in the song and the meaning behind them before we try to enturperate a beat of a song?
bigmidland 11 months ago 6
@JCojocaru Also i would like to add that even if Ivor is correct in his words, and a certain beat is of the devil, and it's fact that artists like trip lee, lecrae, flame and many others can bring lost souls to the foot of the cross and recognize that Jesus Christ died for our sins and repent, than i would say that God is beating the devil at his own game. God is always in control.
bigmidland 11 months ago 9
@bigmidland As much as you may like the sound of that, you don't actually know if those souls are being won for God. What they're really doing is introducing them to a false Christianity. Why are there SO MANY lukewarms today? Because of the watered down forms of Christianity they were introduced into. If you really want I can provide text proving something false cannot lead the lost to God. ONLY CHRIST CAN DO SO! And Christ has nothing to do with things that aren't entirely Godly.
JCojocaru 11 months ago
@bigmidland So you think God uses the devil's methods to bring souls to salvation? God hides his face from darkness. There is no light in darkness.
JCojocaru 1 month ago
@bigmidland the artist seems to be modest and Godly. Satan knows the best way to deceive people is through watered down truth. I highly recommend you look up "Ivor Myers Sonic Warfare" and watch it. He is a guy who rapped for the world, turned to God, turned his rap into Christian rap. He then realized Christian rap is wrong and not Godly, and turned away from that as well. He is very outspoken on the topic and definitely opened my eyes. I started as a liberal Christian myself, but not anymore.
JCojocaru 11 months ago
@JCojocaru Btw I don't care what you think about me, honestly! I hate when people diss work like this. Hip-hop was created by God to be used for his glory down the road.. God created all things. Have nothing to do with foolish, ignorant controversies; you know that they breed quarrels. And the Lord's servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, 2nd tim 2 23-24. In the world not of it, God bless
dRill3d 1 month ago
@dRill3d Did God also create dildos, guns, birth control, violent video games, porn, etc?
And no this isn't a foolish/ignorant controversy. God did not create rap, people of paganism did and now it's being used to "honor God" (or should I say, rake in money instead...).
foolishness is being conformed to the world and proclaiming to be a follower of the truth.
JCojocaru 1 month ago
@JCojocaru brother think what you want i have results of my faith and I don't care what you think hate me, judge me if you must but look at yourself and focus on serving Christ selflessly by loving everyone. This world is nothing but while i'm here ima be the salt and the light for Christ, do things your way but know at the end were both gonna meet God and I have confidence that Christian rap and my faith will be shown as glorifying God forever. Did you even READ 2nd TIM 2 23-23??
dRill3d 1 month ago
@dRill3d How come you didn't answer the question? It was a serious question. If this music came from God, then so did the things I mentioned. Don't be a hypocrite and hide from the truth.
JCojocaru 1 month ago
@JCojocaru then who created it? Who created this? These guys have been moved through the holy spirit. listen to Shai linne he has deep lyrics that only pertain to giving glory to God and spreading the gospel. Why have I come to Christ through this music?? You don't understand that this music has done so much for the Glory of God.
dRill3d 1 month ago
@dRill3d Who created it? Try doing a research "Origins of RAP". These worldly "Christians" didn't create rap. And the doctrine within it is wrong as it is. How do you knwo who truly has the Holy Spirit? What Christ have you come to? Because there are many false Christs among us, as the scripture itself says.
