  • I should have commented a few days ago when I was having a hard day and I saw this on your tumblr and it's been running through my brain ever since. Thanks for sharing, as always. What you come up with is so exciting

  • Jon, your music is much like your presence as I remember it, calming and deeply insightful. Despite time and space between us when I hear you music I nevertheless feel connected to your beautiful journey. I am grateful for the privilege to glimpse inside your soul. You are undoubtedly profoundly talented. Your music both grounds me and lifts my spirit. Please never stop sharing your gift. Fantastic song! Brings me back to the good times spent in your dorm room watching you work your magic :)

  • bringing it home Jon! awesome!

  • I'm commenting because this video is awesome and deserves all the love it can get. Not just for the free t-shirt, I swear! <3

  • This is truly beautiful, all your music is inspiring!

  • Great Job Jon, keep up the good work! Video is wonderful complex and beautiful, loved the music

  • This year i have been struggling with my faith as a Quaker. Your music has been a lifeline to me keeping me centered in the tough times this past. The world may change but I love being able to have to force myself to not multitask when listening to this. Be warned this music will be forever in your head and heart. I am honestly happy when I listen to this.

  • came for the t-shirt, stayed for the sense of simpleness and ambiguity

  • Brilliant, just brilliant.

  • Amazing. Around 2:50 I I was hooked...but that's not the first time something like this has happened. About a year ago you were at a QYLC hosted by my school, and before you performed a few of my friends had been telling me about you. "Quaker rapper? What? Is that even possi---" and that was as far as I got before I witnessed your lyrical magnificence. I'm a rapper, and I've always wanted to fall into the abyss of "deeper rap". Each one of your songs pushes me closer to the edge...thank you.

  • I love your music, it's so deep and so unexpected.

  • Wow jon this blew me away. Love it when the violinscome in. X

  • I love all of your music.. so much. Please come to Richmond?

  • Jon I love all of your music so much it always brightens my day! And I would love nothing more than to wear a shirt around with naked quakers on it, they're the best kind of people :) keep up the awesome work!

  • Come to Haverford College! I'd love to hear you live again!

  • I love this more than words can say. I've listened to it on repeat for 3 nights, so far. Thank you so much. <3

  • This song contains a purity that completely blows me away.

  • This whole album has become a staple for my winter drives during these dreary days. I love how this song makes me feel sadness for the past and hope for the future at the same time...

  • @jonwattmusic i was a quaker qhen i was a little child, my beleifs were losts for a few years and now I'm a teenager and I went YMG last summer, there i rediscovered the faith i once had and you are now helping to support it with your music and im now much more involved with Quakers.

  • Love the music that goes along with the powerful spoken word

  • great stuff! cool video too

  • Jon, listening to you is like drinking fresh water from a spring rather than a kitchen sink. Everything about you, your words, your intensity, your clarity, precision, your nudity, your guitar strings accompanying your message, everything about you is alive. In the beginning, was Conscious Love, and I am in its presence when in your presence. I would never be afraid of you. My body would be safe. My emotions would be safe. My spirit would be safe. We could be naked and unashamed in every way.

  • This is my Sunday school. :) love it!

  • The spoken-word live version was powerful, but this is more than I could have hoped for. Good for the soul. :)

  • great job on this video jon. this song is one of my new favorites of yours

  • Quaker rap. It's a whole new kind of music, and you've got me hooked. Keep up the great work.
