@AfriSynergy Normally I'd agree with you. I'd want to see this guy get the chair, but the more I hear about how we failed him, the more I feel that there was a lot of responsibility should have been placed on others. Also, forget what I said about Regan being shot, I just remembered that the gunmen was mentally unstable as well.
It could probably be said that all killers are "unstable". However, I think Laughner is not crazy as many are claiming him to be. He's calculating throughout all of this, even before the killings. Society failed him? No, I don't think so. It is more likely that he played on the known predisposition of thought within society and then acted.
Before he is put to death, he will be closely psychologically analyzed and evaluated.
@AfriSynergy Then how do you explain the ample opportunities the school, and Sheriff's department had to involuntarily commit him. If they had done all they could, then yes, by all means, put the needle in his arm, but if a paranoid schizophrenic is not helped, stuff like this has a higher risk of happening.
If Laughner is psychotic which has yet to be shown, it is the responsibility of politicians not to incite people like this, many who are even thought to be "sane". Again, we warned the Republicans, Tea Party, Palin and the rest of the talking heads.
When Reagan was president, the doors of psycho wards were opened all across the country, as the budgets were cut. This put thousands of them on the streets.
Be prepared for speedy trial and speedy death by lethal injection. Look at McVeigh's execution for a model. McVeigh went from accused to lethal injection in 6 years. A typical stay on death row is about 24 years exhausting appeals. They were also looking for an accomplice in McVeigh's case who fit a different description but never turned one up. The McVeigh case was also tried in the media, everyone "knew" he did it so the conviction made everyone happy.
The Reagan case is another "lone nut" theory. Hinckley and Bush families were and are close. Hinckley's father was the president of World Vision. All these ties between then vice resident Bush and the Hinckley family were ignored by the media then, just as the witnesses and participants in this shooting event are being ignored in favor of sensationalist crime-mongering a steady stream of tabloid voyeurism of Loughner's past, none of which is relevant.
I'm surprised you have such faith in the media to announce your confidence in this man's guilt. I've compiled all the witness statements I can find on the internet and none of them saw Loughner pulling the trigger. The ones who saw the shooter are dead now. 911 calls reported the gunman heading north past the Walgreens 100 meters away, Loughner was apprehended approximately 10 feet from where the shooter stood. There is enough here for reasonable doubt if one is reasonable.
Believe whatever you like to believe about Loughner's guilt or innocence. No one need to see the guy pull trigger. The courts will decide the fate of Loughner.
I think we all know his fate at this point, the court will just ratify it. I have a lot of respect for you and the work you do but on this issue I think you have clearly jumped the gun. It's easy to read a bunch of tabloid headlines that pronounce Loughner's guilt and simply agree with it. I know you possess superb research skills, and I'm very disappointed you seem to be jumping to the exact conclusion all of the media is parroting now, choosing instead to play the blame game.
"Blame game"? According to standard media, in their polls, more than 57% believe Sarah Palin, Tea Party and the talking heads on the radio had nothing to do with inciting this guy. I totally disagree with this media poll.
This guy's gun was on him and he was reloading as he was tackled. It's a clear case. Did he act alone, the media says yes, I say that is not yet known.
@fertilizerspike I know I might get hammered for this, but I don't think the death penalty should be sought (thought I am in support of it). If it is sought, we should also seek it for those who did not follow through with getting help for this mentally disturbed individual. People had ample time to commit this individual and get him the help he desperately need. As a student of psychology, I feel that a lot of people failed this kid. It is a sad day indeed for America. Excellent point.
I don't know how you can say Loughner is mentally disturbed, since you know nothing about him that doesn't consist entirely of internet gossip. The media are the ones who've failed here, they've been plastering Loughner's face all over the news saying he's a child killer and "lone nut" assassin. How many "lone nut" assassin excuses are we to accept for political assassinations? Was MLK killed by a "lone nut"? Was JFK?
People Like: Chris Matthews, Nina Totenberg, President Obama, people at the Daily Kos, the list goes on and on. So what, sir, did Palin say that was so threatening. Does it trouble you, that unlike other republicans, she fights back when the media and others attack her and her FAMILY!!!!! Where were you when they were threatening President Bush?
How many Republican congressmen or women have been shot and killed since the Tea Party was formed? Was Bush shot? He certainly did cause the loss of hundreds of thousands of civilians in Iraq. The fact is that we have several people dead and a democratic congresswoman struggling to live as a result of a guy whose obsession was the "Constitution" and "Abortion". Sounds like Republican and Tea Party platforms to me.
@AfriSynergy And he also started rambling on about grammar in his class. Does this mean English professors had something to do with the shooting too? You're basing all your assumptions on conjecture. The fact is, that a republican Judge is dead. Maybe the gunman took Obama's "If they bring a knife, we'll bring a gun" seriously. I'm being over-the-top now to make a point. What remarks did Sarah Plain insight. Compared to some of the people who I WITNESSED make these remarks, Palin is "G."
What a silly question. Grammar has nothing to do with politics but Giffords citing a part of the Constitution just before this political assassination attempt does. The fact that this killer talked to others about the Constitution and dislike of the federal government says much about where this is leading. The judge was at the wrong place at the wrong time, the target was Giffords, as the killer's letter indicates.
@AfriSynergy My point exactly about the grammar, yet he was cited has saying things about grammar. LOOK IT UP. You say, the Congresswomen cited the Constitution before she was shot. Okay then, case solved. Deranged gunman, who people were afraid of killed the Congresswomen, because she cited th Constitution. Again, making a point, not blaming. Also, it seems his book list, The Communist Manifesto among others, seem to imply left leaning. I unlike you, though, will not put blame on a party
I blamed the Republican and Tea Party long before this happened. Gabrielle Giffords blamed the Republican and Tea Party before this happened and warned that they were stirring up nuts to kill someone that they were targeting in their antics. It happened. There was a coffin left in the yard of one Democratic candidate. When we see a Republican in Congress killed, only then can we say Democrats aren't the target.
@AfriSynergy Again, do you have proof that the shooter was a member of the TEA PARTY or the REPUBLICANS? Please show me more than "he said, she said."
@AfriSynergy No, but are you saying its okay to make a movie about a sitting President to be shot. Is it okay to have pictures of Bush being hung? Is that okay? How about hoping that the Late TONY SNOW die of cancer? Is that okay. LOOK IT UP!!!! I'm not hearing this from those you've previously cited. I'm hearing this from those at MSNBC. Like I said, it seems to me that you're perfectly fine with the attacks on the right (R material), but you don't like when they fight back (PG-13).
Bush supported the hanging of Saddam Hussein, did he not. What happened to that image of the former Iraqi president being hanged? It bothered you to see a few images of Bush being hanged but did it bother you to see what happened in Iraq, was that okay? Again, Democrats were targeted with imagery of death and that imagery was acted on. Show me one, just one Republican shot or killed. If you can't, you have no debate.
@AfriSynergy Regan, he was shot. okay, lets bring Hussein into the mix. He who was a criminal and convicted of crimes that warranted the death penalty. I'm interested, when were democrats targeted with images of death. I'm still waiting for some proof. Please tell me you have more than just the word "targeting."
Reagan was a president, not a congressperson. We know presidents are targeted but when was a Republican congressperson targeted and shot? We had a coffin placed in the yard of one democratic candidate in Ohio. What does that connotate? We are not going to see anymore of the warring language from Sarah Palin. She knows she was wrong.
Referring to Saddam Hussein, if the US was overthrown by certain nations Bush would likely be tried and convicted for war crimes.
@AfriSynergy I guess you haven't read my post yet, Reagan was shot by a person with mental instabilities, but you obviously have just shown that you don't count Republicans as victims of anything. BRAVO!!!! Look, president, congressmen(women), they are still government officials. There are attacks on both sides. Are you surprised that there is outrage over the people we elect not doing the things MOST people want. Yes!!!
@AfriSynergy "She knows she was wrong." Wrong on what, defending herself, defending her family, speaking out against people who go against her constituents. It seems you want Republicans to roll over and let everyone walk all over them. What of Obama saying that "We're the enemy?" That sounds very peaceful to me. Is the president insighting violence? Give me one thing that Palin has said, besides the terrorism definition.
(cont.) If that's what you are implying, that victims of heinous acts aren't innocent, then I guess you are asserting that victims of the HEINOUS crime of rape aren't innocent. You then go on to assert that her "threatening" words had something to do with this. First the individual was a Paranoid Schizophrenic did not like politics. Second, what threatening words?????? The only threatening words, I've heard come from the left. (See continued)
Refer to the video where Palin is asked whether those who kill doctors who perform abortions and blowup clinics are "terrorists". Google: AfriSynergy palin abortion
I do not agree with abortions for the most part but Palin is quite easy on those who kill and harm those who work in that area of medicine.
You should listen more closely, there has been lots of hate and deadly words coming from the Tea Party.
@AfriSynergy I saw your video. Very nice, you had all the talking points of the Far-Left morons on MSNBC. Congrats. She made it clear, that any ATTACK ON THE UNITED STATES CAPITOL OR PENTAGON WAS A TERRORIST. The weather underground blew up government buildings were TERRORISTS. Those blow up Abortion Clinics and riot are criminals. I guess you would say the LA riots were a bunch of Terrorist, by your standard of Terrorism.
@AfriSynergy I also notice you have another "innocent" usage problems. I recall her using the word innocent to describe the people that were killed. I also recall her using the word facilities to denote the properties damaged. I had NO idea that the people where equal to facilities. hmm. I guess homes = occupants. I hope I don't ever break a window, that would harm the occupants. ARE YOU SERIOUS!!!!!!
Blowing up abortion clinics and not calling it a terrorist act is a "serious" matter when a woman such as Palin refuses to call it what it is. Frankly, you will likely never hear her call Loughner a "terrorists" just as she refused to call abortion clinic bombers and killers of those workers terrorists.
You have a very bad understanding, similar to millions of others in the USA.
@AfriSynergy Would I have chosen to say that they were terrorists? I would have to say that yes they are. If, however, I do say such a thing, I would then be refering to any acts of violence committed against a large group of people. School shootings, acts of violence against a group of people with a different ethnic background, riots (L.A. riots) are also acts of terror. Be careful thought to look at the context of the entire question.
@AfriSynergy As far as the HATE and the RACE BATING!!!! hmm let me see. PRESIDENT OBAMA, NACY PELOSI, HARRY REID, ALL DOCUMENTED SAYING THINGS THAT WOULD BE CONSIDERED RACE BATING. Little advice, in a debate like this, I stay away from this topic. It doesn't help your case AT ALL.
LOL.... "race bating". There's only one race. This is another important lesson you need to learn. We know the long history of the acts of white people against others, especially the Native Americans and Africans. It is an ugly thing people who think like you created and you can't hide from it. What about the recent revealing of intentionally infecting Guatemalan women with syphilis and gonerea? Tell me it didn't happen.
@AfriSynergy I am not denying the crimes against people, anyone to deny it is a nitwit. But you seem to be neglecting one very important detail. REPUBLICANS NEVER, EVER brought up race in the presidential elections. Unlike the Obama campaign who focused so heavily on race when criticism came, Republicans focused on the issues. If Obama had proper credentials, i.e. been in congress for longer than a handful of votes, and he wasn't as radical as he is, I would have no problem voting for him.
Wrong, the modern Republican Party is the epitome of racism. This includes bringing up "race" during the presidential campaign and, certainly, after he won the presidency. Racists whites rarely, if ever, acknowledges a black person with the "credentials" to be president. When they do acknowledge it, they are talking about a person who is not running for president, i.e., Colin Powell.
@AfriSynergy That's not to say there's not nuts on the right, if any are found, by all means expose them, and don't do much work to make them look like idiots, the do such a good job at that already. Just saying there's no reason to reinvent the wheel.
Amazing how you people regurgitate what you hear Hannity, Limbaugh, Levin, O'Reilly, Beck and other super rich mouths say. This killer started quoting the Constitution when he was told at a job bank he could not videotape there. He started screaming about abortions when he was at a computer in a library. There's more to come that's going cause many of you to become quiet about this guy.
I don't normally do this, but I HAVE HAD ENOUGH!!!! Enough of the hypocrisy! Enough with the HATE SPEECH from everyone who adheres to this frame of mind. Sarah Palin offers a heart felt response, and you criticize the her response. Saying her use of innocent is just her way of being judge. My friend, did the crowd shoot the shooter first? Then they would not be innocent. Or perhaps you are saying that victims of a heinous crimes aren't innocent.
I served in US army 92 94 I hate the current government, crooked money system, carry a gun, however murdering people I have not done? We can say or speculate a lot of things. The fact remains this whole event surrounds ineternal actions of on jewish temple. Where the actors all know what is relly going on.
The latest report is that the door at the Motel 6 where Laughner stayed the night before the killings, was opened several times. Was there anyone there with him? That is not yet known. But as you can see, they are looking over every inch of this guy and anyone who may have been around him, perhaps, even coaching him.
@AfriSynergy oh I truely believe someone or a group of that temple was coaching or goating him to act out. So many of these nefarious acts are planned to create an atmosphere where they can inact draconian laws on the free people of the united states.
Friends and former girlfriend reported in Wall St Journal say the shooter didn't listen to talk radio, worked to get congresswoman elect as did the other jews at their temple chevor sp? The fact is this whole event is a plan gone wrong by zionists. Palin is just another gentile tool they may use as the next puppet after obamo is done.
Yes, it is a certainty that Palin is a tool of the Zionists. However, she will never rise to leadership in the USA. Friends and girlfriends didn't know what Laughner was doing or listening to when he wasn't around them. The FBI may find that this killer was at the Tea Party rallies in Tucson because he clearly has an anti-federal government position, like so many within the Tea Party.
May find simply means there's more information coming about this killer and who he associated with. You will learn that he attended some of the Tea Party rallies in Tucson.
As I said, the FBI is gathering new information about the killer on a daily basis. I suggest you stay tuned and observe as this guy is connected to the right wing dangerous suggestive rhetoric and imagery.
Also, most of Laughner's friends would probably admit that they never noticed any indications that he would target Giffords but he did. Other friends indicated he appeared to be "normal" when they were in high school.
Sarah Palin is yet lying again. This is the woman riding the beast. She LQQKS like a female impersonator. Watch, the smirk on her face when she mentions Giffords name. She is a coward, hiding behind a huge mass of ppl. Sarah said, "shoot and reload!" I expect her to refuse to take responsibility for her actions, she's a snake, it's in their nature 2 deceive you She should be charged. The Nat'l Guard should go 2 war against the Republican Party, they promoted this violence, so they should pay.
palin is disgusting.....instead of apologizing, bitch is playing the victim card....she needs to go to the tuscon hospital to c who the real victim is....
No need to think about it. Cynthia McKinney voted against the Iraq war when she was in Congress. I support anyone who have the courage to do that. If Palin hangs around, I'm sure you will see more videos about this deceitful woman. Get used-to it or get out of the neighborhood.....
human being who enjoys hunting animals for fun is evil. this woman sara palin, who's holding gun& happy to show with pride the slaying-of the innocent animals, is a very bad example for society, absolutely dangerous to be given any work as a civil-servant.she said she's praying for guidance,from whom? definitely not God the Almighty. & did you ask'what if it's her daughter'?she will sacrifice her, don't you know her type of people do not care 4 anyone.
Those "CLINGING" to life because of someone "CLINGING" to a gun!
It is also Amazing how these DOGS defend their "political" debate and radio personalities and on the otherside of their forked tongue claim that rappers are to blame for drug abuse and violence in american society!
What goes around comes around. Everyone should look and see how Whites of the country handle THEIR own kids doing to them what blacks have been dealing with for too long!
yeah she is real slick but not slick enough she should have kept her mouth closed. single evil man sarah can't even be sympathetic as she is soul less.
she's so fake and wut a corny apology

@AfriSynergy As far as the HATE and the RACE BATING!!!! hmm let me see. PRESIDENT OBAMA, NACY PELOSI, HARRY REID, ALL DOCUMENTED SAYING THINGS THAT WOULD BE CONSIDERED RACE BATING. Little advice, in a debate like this, I stay away from this topic. It doesn't help your case AT ALL.
infiltrationministry 1 year ago
@infiltrationministry

Yes!

@infiltrationministry

@AfriSynergy Okay, your assumption, you're to prove.

@AfriSynergy That's not to say there's not nuts on the right, if any are found, by all means expose them, and don't do much work to make them look like idiots, the do such a good job at that already. Just saying there's no reason to reinvent the wheel.

@infiltrationministry
AfriSynergy 1 year ago

AfriSynergy 1 year ago
@AfriSynergy oh I truely believe someone or a group of that temple was coaching or goating him to act out. So many of these nefarious acts are planned to create an atmosphere where they can inact draconian laws on the free people of the united states.
bohemianh 1 year ago
Friends and former girlfriend reported in Wall St Journal say the shooter didn't listen to talk radio, worked to get congresswoman elect as did the other jews at their temple chevor sp? The fact is this whole event is a plan gone wrong by zionists. Palin is just another gentile tool they may use as the next puppet after obamo is done.
bohemianh 1 year ago
@bohemianh
AfriSynergy 1 year ago
@AfriSynergy May find???? So you don't have any proof right?
infiltrationministry 1 year ago
@infiltrationministry
May find simply means there's more information coming about this killer and who he associated with. You will learn that he attended some of the Tea Party rallies in Tucson.
AfriSynergy 1 year ago
@AfriSynergy Do you have any new information that the rest of the world, including the police, don't know about?
infiltrationministry 1 year ago
@infiltrationministry

It's hard to watch this woman

Sarah Palin is yet lying again. This is the woman riding the beast. She LQQKS like a female impersonator. Watch, the smirk on her face when she mentions Giffords name. She is a coward, hiding behind a huge mass of ppl. Sarah said, "shoot and reload!" I expect her to refuse to take responsibility for her actions, she's a snake, it's in their nature 2 deceive you She should be charged. The Nat'l Guard should go 2 war against the Republican Party, they promoted this violence, so they should pay.

Dude get over it.
I havnt seen you support or do 1 fucking video about Cynthia McKinney. But this is your 300th about Sarah palin.
Seriously think about that.
CWonder7 1 year ago
@CWonder7
