@maktorri9 Depending on your age you can turn yourself around. I used to live for sex, drugs and rock and roll and then I grew up. As the saying goes, "if I knew I was going to live this long I would have taken better care of myself". My point in all this is simple. A good metal band can make you a ton of cash and pussy, but record companies in general do not waste dollars on bands that are suicidal ... they are not a good investment. Being able to hear lyrics sells, tin eared noise does not.
@videocanone one other thing, this music does not make me think of suicide. Where the US and rest of the world are heading should be top priority and even if there is little to nothing working class people can do, we can always escape into music w/o drugs. Metal has basically saved my life and made this hellhole our great leaders are destroying, worth living in.
Worst type of "genre" to create. To me it sounds like raw black metal, the thing that the lyrics may be depressive and suicidal does not make a new genre. For example a black metal band sing about satanism. Haven't seen something like "raw satanic christian-thrashing black metal".
