NBA Live 08 is basically the same as NBA Live 07 the only difference is they made the graphics better & smoother... They fixed up on how the players bounce the ball so it looks more realistic & they added a few more features... People have different point of view when it comes to games so if you like the game & you think its good just buy it, if your not so sure buy both of them then you can decide from there... =)

i own both nba games on my xbox360 - nba live 08 & nba 2k8... There both really good games to play but if i had to pick 1 on which is better i'd have to say nba 2k8 & why is this, its because when you control the players on the controller its basically direct & it runs smoothly when you do so...

I play both infact every time i get both i get NHL 2k or NBA 2k or NHL live or NBA LIve but i pick Live .Honestly i think there both good but 2k lacks in graphics and Live has more gamemodes now so its better and it has good graphics. i think there both great games and the companies have gone to great lengths to make us enjoy them. YEa NBA 07 really sucked. Didn't see much difference. But this game I c a lot of difference. Go to moves...graphics are improved and handles are better. Free throw stick was already ok with me. Was gonna get 2k8 but now I'm not sure.

i think 2k series hired people within to work for EA... ruined this game since 2005. the new game engine is not really fun to use. ive played it since 97 hated the 2007 one, last good one was 2005, back down move, diagrams of plays? theyre all gone.its nice to have fluid graphics.i dont want to WATCH the game.I WANT TO PLAY! by the way the game doest have to be like broadcast quality,if you watch sports ITS the broadcasters who emulate the computer game shots.

My friends played nba live since nbalive97 SOLID,... this past years its slumping. last good one was 2005... for me. now back down moves gone,siagram of plays gone,etc. You have to be a psychic to guess how your man will move. its nice to have fluid graphics... but sometimes you dont care if the point guard plays hogs the ball like on 2007. i dont want to WATCH the game...
