  • newest penis enlargement procedure......

  • what was the first thing you made?

  • @MrThahey

It's called a shutter dog. They are the metal devices used to secure shutters int he open position. We used to make a bunch of them when people still had real shutters. They, like us, are now obsolete ; )

  • @andhija Craftsman will always have a place in the world. You can't buy handmade quality stuff at Wal-Mart.

  • powerfully your hammer !! energaizer...!

  • i love the little giant. i made a giant self but the factory giants are beter than mine xD

  • I have a 25 lb. Canadian Giant.

For 20 years I used it to make Damascus steel, but now she's worn out.

I've retired it and bought an 88 lb. Striker air hammer.

I can still use the old one for short periods.

It paid for itself many times over, as did the new one in it's first year of service.

My little hammer sits in it's corner and that's where it will stay.

  • Nice...just out of intrest have you ever been to hereford? you have a familiar style of forging.

  • My old bosses father (Joe Stokes) helped with setting up the Hereford program many years ago. Through his son I learned my earlier forging methods and later from Joe who is now deceased. Cool that you sighted it, probably through the shutter dog I imagine.

    What is your experience?

  • do you have a source for parts for yours?

  • Sid owns the little giant hammer company and is in Oklahoma City. He inventories parts and can repair as well. Great guy, great service. He has saved me from down time more than once. Contact him at 402-873-6603, USA.

  • Thanks

  • Sid is in Nebraska City Nebraska

  • Why does the steel flake off?

  • It's not steel, its oxide.

  • OK Thanks.

  • Yeah, when the steel's that hot the surface oxidises at a fast rate, basically rusting very quickly, creating a layer of iron oxide on the surface that flakes off in the form of grey scale when struck by the hammer. This then collects around the anvil, and can be later gathered to make thermite. Waheyyy :D

  • what were u making

  • top vid mate, will post a vid of my home built hammer real soon, see how they compare.

  • i envy you :P i want a power hammer to.
