does your monitor scream? Mine started screaming like after 1 month and its not stopping, i can reduce the beep by putting it 100% but it still starts buzzing when theres black on screen
this is disappointing. 22" isn't that big to begin with but on top of that we have large black bars on top and bottom. not good for movies. i was hoping for a 24" e-ips, 1080p / 1200p, led backlit, articulating stand for $300 (sale price) and ~$400 regular price. i just don't feel like waiting.
you are correct. i had a dose of reality a few weeks ago. i'm staring that this 2209wa right now. im happy with this monitor. 1080p, led aren't really a big deal to me. it plays my xbox 360 and streaming video magnificnetly. we don't know when that "perfect" monitor will be out so i'd rather enjoy this for now.
apple cinmea display has led & ips. but that is overpriced and uses a proprietary port and not hdmi or dvi so you have trouble connecting it to machines other than select macs.
if you happen to find this monitor for sale somewhere can you please tell me where I'm looking to buy this monitor as well but can not find it anywhere in Canada ='(
you have the rev. a01 or a02

is black glow disturbing when watching a movie, or playing darker games compared to a "good" tn panel?
xnanashi 1 year ago
@xnanashi no theres no light bleed 100% bleed proof and the glow disappears with distance

I think you are a bit optimistic, besides I do not know of many LED backlit ISP panels -none in fact...

Well, there is OELD technology that should begood in a few years. Well, closer to several probably. :p
So now you have the 2209WA? If so the nit is not 1080p.

hey, if you look at black screensaver, is there much backlight bleed when you reduce brightness?

You dont NEED HDMI! HDMI is stupid for a monitor man, get a tv for that!
This kills ALL the 22 inch monitors out there.. ive tryd benq and viewsonic this destroys them.
Perfect monitor for a non playstation or xbox user.. actually MUST GET monitor for 399 AUD price range.

There is no HDMI on this monitor. I assume DVI was the word intended.
