Youre wrong.... the channel who produces the Israeli version fucked up a perfect format by changing it... they could easily go 100 days and they will look better than the american version survivors after 20-25 days..

After 40 days most of them didnt lose a pound, the most was like 3-4 pounds, they masscared the concept... hopefully they will fix their screw ups in the second season, other wise its just a failure.

The only good thing about the Israeli version its the openning...

They didnt only change the format, they practically sold the game when they actively transfered their favourite player who was about to be voted off by transfering him to the girls tribes, they abused the game and practically ruined it, i actually watched it, did you? Youre probably a Mano fan :P

Theres a slight difference between "different" and doing what ever in their power to make sure Dan and the Jibaro tribe gain the adventage and vote off Sabana, remember who reached the union with a majority? Sabana, who gave the game to Jibaro with that sold out "dancing" contest when they gave Marina a chance to delete the votes of two sabana members? THAT has never been done in the American version...

I wasnt like that, i became that way right after Sachar was voted out, i gave them a chance, i wasnt one of those concpiracy fans but their intervention was so obvious and disgusting i had enough, its not about "style", its about cheating just to give their rating bomb Dan a shot to the final, while in the same time screwing Sabana who earned the right to be a majority at the union, not just me, thousands are not going to watch the second season because of the production, they deserve to fail.

i agree, rygon, they HAVE intervented the "game" and I guess I am some kind of a "concpiracy fan" and i read that they give them food, blankets, clothes and hotel rooms... only so they will lie for the show and wont tell a thing about it when they come back to Israel (im still not sure if they realy made the show in those islands... though i know they werent realy picturing the show on the islands they show in the intro

I read in Wikipedia the location where it was filmed was "Los Haitises" in Dominican Republic.

Poor guys!! that place is beautiful but is very hostile, I mean, there are a lot of mosquitos and roots of mangroofs may hurt their feet.

I remember the second Colombian season of survivor was filmed there and those contestants did suffered during that season
