The driver in this video has great skill. However most of his skill is his sense of orientation, learning the track and knowing the next turns. I prefer maps with instinctive driving, where you can see ahead what is coming and you can win a map even you have never played it before. On Trackmania 1 dirt maps, there used to be such maps. Unfortunately some of the graphics in TM2 make it hard to see the next turn if you haven't learned it before.

@fiiliop Its very playable on keyboard. But if you've already played a game with similar controls on console, then it would be better to play this game on a gamepad. For me it was much better playing with a gamepad since im used to games like NFS HP, Burnout, Ridge Racer, etc.

Looks like any sort of gamepad is the only option in Trackmania 2. Keyboard seems to be way too difficult to handle in this game, even though it worked well in the original Trackmania. I hope this is not the case though.
