All u have to do to stop a neck crank is to put both your hands on your forehead, so your opponent cant push your head to your chest. The same holds true in a full nelson, crucifix, etc, etc, I'm a big neck crank guy & someone put me in one, I just basically kept my neck in one place by using my two hands. Someone who is really good however, will trap your hands, so u can't use them as a brace. This is why Bjj guys like chokes instead, because you pass out if u don't tap.
It works well to get the first position while standing. Then throw them to the ground, and land full body weight in this position. Works well...if you're an assassassin;(
I'm Confused!...is this a "pain compliance" or a "chiropractic" thing? on the one hand, it really looks like a move to subdue your opponent and apply pain compliance, on the other, it looks like a nice "neck adjustment" technique my chiropractor might use.
